MARCH 2026
The fundamental problem with Nigeria’s current political class is greed and an abnormal appetite for consumption, resulting in an unsustainable economic pattern that benefits only a privileged few.
For decades, certain political and military elites have taken advantage of historical circumstances following the civil war that ended in 1970 to consolidate power at the centre. In practice, what is described as federalism has functioned more like a unitary system, limiting innovation, discouraging regional competitiveness, and frustrating the creativity that could have built a truly productive environment where every Nigerian is meaningfully engaged and rewarded.
True federalism—one that guarantees fairness, equity, and responsible management of our human and mineral resources—has consistently been resisted by the ruling elites.
Over the years, political, business, military, and even religious elites have accumulated enormous wealth, securing the future of their children and grandchildren, while income inequality continues to widen. This growing disparity now threatens the corporate existence of Nigeria.
The current system is structurally flawed. It has left the working class struggling and the poor in deep hardship. Public wealth has too often been used to sustain a cycle of division—along ethnic and religious lines—rather than to unite citizens around shared prosperity.
Millions of Nigerian youths remain unemployed. Many who travel abroad in search of greener pastures face harsh realities and limited opportunities. Despite Nigeria’s abundant oil and gas resources, the majority of citizens continue to experience economic hardship, rising fuel prices, and increasing energy costs.
What should have been a blessing has not translated into widespread prosperity.
Sadly, civic participation remains low. Many citizens feel disconnected from governance and hesitant to demand accountability. This is why Good Governance Ministry (GGM) was established—to give the working class and ordinary citizens a renewed sense of direction, purpose, and political awareness.
GGM is committed to building a modern society that meets the expectations of the 21st century and beyond. Working with revolutionary online platforms such as BVI Channel 1 and like-minded citizens across the political space, GGM seeks to peacefully mobilize Nigerians to demand accountable leadership and institutional reform.
We believe firmly in the supremacy of the people, in line with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, particularly Chapter 14(2)(a) & (b), which affirms that sovereignty belongs to the people and that security and welfare shall be the primary purpose of government.
We have learned an important lesson: when citizens unite with clarity and conviction, change becomes possible. Whether in Anambra State or elsewhere, leadership must reflect the will of the people—not the manipulation of money, ethnicity, or religion.
Political power belongs to the people.
Industrializing our cities, creating millions of jobs for our energetic youths, and building systems that promote economic prosperity are achievable goals. Government should create happiness, opportunity, and shared prosperity.
Good Governance Ministry is here to organize citizens around ideas and ideology—not personalities. While politicians may disappoint, the people must remain steadfast in their demand for transparency, fairness, and responsible leadership.
We are on the right side of history. Together, we can build the system we desire.
