In the South-East, the proposed states are Etiti, Adada, Urashi, Orlu, and Aba. The South-South will have Ogoja, Warri, Bori, and Obolo, while the South-West is expected to get Toru-Ebe, Ibadan, Lagoon, ljebu, and Oke-Ogun/Ife-liesha.
For the proposal to take effect, it requires approval from two-thirds of the National Assembly, affected State Assemblies, and Local Government Councils.
