Regina Caeli College Of Nursing Sciences To Partner USA Varsity For Global Standard Nursing Studies

Regina Caeli College of Nursing Sciences, Awka, has commenced arrangements to partner with an American university as part of its efforts to offer students globally standard nursing education.
The Chairman of the College’s Board of Directors, Rev. Fr. Dr. Charles Ndubuisi, disclosed this while speaking on the outcome of the Board’s inaugural meeting held at the College’s conference room on Saturday, February 28.
The Chairman said the Board is setting standards to ensure that the College produces nurses who are not only marketable at home but also competitive abroad.
“We have announced the relationship we are nurturing between our College and East Texas A&M University, USA.
“We have had very fruitful discussions with its Nursing Department and its President about possible exchange programmes, partnership and scholarships in such a manner that our students who graduate here with an HND will proceed to the university to complete their BSc in one year,” Fr. Ndubuisi said.
He explained that the Board deliberated on the prospects and the teething challenges, particularly accommodation, facing the College.
According to him, the Board has come up with short- and long-term plans to address the challenges.
Details of the meeting, during which the Board also celebrated the College’s successful takeoff of academic activities on January 13, 2026, will be published later.
