In a bid to strengthen the democratic culture and make Biafra government institutions people-driven, the Biafra parliament has elected a new Head of Government to steer the ship of the group for the first term of two years.
A statement issued by BDFCG Spokesperson, Prosper Odinga, explained that in a majority decision, Anselmo Onyebuchi Udowelle was elected the new Chancellor to replace Dr. Emeka Okeadu effective 16th March 2024.
The statement said Biafran public is expected to accord the new chancellor every needed support to succeed; as the march to the promised land continues.
It congratulated Comrade Udowelle for being the 4th Chancellor of the Biafra De Facto Customary Government, and urged all Biafrans to continue to show the rest of Nigerians how to serve the people and run democratic institutions devoid of personal interest.
Comrade Udowelle, according to the statement, will be assisted by other Executive Officers, as well as members of the Parliament.
