Report has it that Innoson group has taken over some branches of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) in Awka and Nnewi, Anambra state over N8.7 Billion judgment debt.

The Chairman of Innoson Group, Chief Dr Innocent Chukwuma, OFR has through a Writ of FiFa taken over Guaranty Trust Bank PLC for and on behalf of Innoson Nigeria Ltd as a result of the Bank’s indebtedness to Innoson Nigeria Ltd.
In a landmark decision on February 27th 2019, the Supreme Court of Nigeria dismissed GTB’s appeal – SC. 694/2014- against the judgment of Court of Appeal, Ibadan Division.
The Court of Appeal, Ibadan division had in its decision of 6th February 2014 dismissed GTB’s appeal against the Federal High Court, Ibadan Division. Thus, the Court of Appeal affirmed the judgment of the Federal High Court, Ibadan Division which ordered GTB by way of Garnishee order absolute – to pay N2.4 Billion to Innoson with a 22% interest, per annum, on the judgment sum until the final liquidation of the judgment debt.
Rather than obey the judgment of the Court of Appeal, GTB approached the Supreme Court to challenge the Court of Appeal’s decision.
However in an ruling delivered by Honourable Olabode Rhodes-Vivour JSC on Wednesday, February 27th2019, the Lord Justices of the Supreme Court (JSC) dismissed GTB’s appeal and thus affirmed the concurrent judgment of both the Court of Appeal and the Federal High Court, Ibadan Division which ordered GTB by way of Garnishee order absolute – to pay N2.4 Billion to Innoson with a 22% interest, per annum, on the judgment until the final liquidation of the judgment. The Judgment debt of N2.4B has an accrued interest as at today of about N6,717,909,849.96 which results to about N8.8 Billion.
Based on the Supreme Court’s decision of 27th February 2019 the counsel to Innoson, Prof McCarthy Mbadugha ESQ, had approached the Federal High Court, Awka Division for leave to enforce the judgment having obtained Certificates of Judgment from the Ibadan Division of the Federal High Court.
Having obtained the requisite leave, the Federal High Court issued the necessary process for levying execution – the Writ of Fifa.

Breaking: Nnamdi Kanu To Be Arrested -Court
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Thursday, March 28, issued a bench warrant for the re-arrest of the fugitive leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
In a judgement presided over by Binta Nyako, BVI reports that the court also revoked the bail previously granted to the IPOB leader. Our Reporters gathers that the judgment was made following the failure of Kanu to appear in court after his bail was granted in April 2017 .
Justice Nyako, according to the report, also ruled that the trial of the runaway IPOB leader must continue even in his absence before adjourning the case to June 18.

COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AFTER A JOINT EMERGENCY MEETING OF THE SOUTH SOUTH AND SOUTH EAST STATES OF OURMUMUDONDO MOVEMENT IN OWERRI,TODAY 25TH MARCH 2019.
 Following series of calls and social media posts brought to our attention by Nigerians who revere Ourmudondo Movement and its determination to purge our Nation of bad leaders, we waded in and had cause to carry out an independent investigation on the alleged compromise by our National Leader, Charly Boy Oputa.
After investigations carried out by the South South, South East zone of the movement, we had resolved not to join issues with Mr. Adenuji Deji, the purveyor of falsehood, having known his stock in trade but for the interest of the reading public and our partners in this region we, state as follows:
CharlyBoy, being our national leader had known Barr Festus Keyamo for a long time and both have remained friends even though they disagree on some political issues. The former had visited the latter over rumour peddled by Mr. Adenuju Deji while in Prison that he (Festus Keyamo) was behind his incarceration. On the process, he (Keyamo) heard a song already done by Charly Boy in which he maintained that neither the PDP nor APC presidential candidates was good enough to be Nigerian President as held as personal view which he sustained till now. He maintained that both of them have been so recycled and should give way for younger people.
The song attracted Festus Keyamo’s attention which led to asking for a copy as one of APC campaign materials against PDP without knowing that the same video which all of us have watched also criticised President Buhari. Area Father, in his usual style, told Festus Keyamo to negotiate with his boys, the sound engineers. But in doing so, he should know that it is his intellectual property and should not take the video without seeing the boys.
Our investigation revealed that a copy of the video was later released to Keyamo and who in turn appreciated the boys that made available the copy to him.
As it was, since it was a visit with clear objective, by the time the APC spokesperson left our National Leader’s house, Charly Boy called Adenuji Deji to inform him of Festus Keyamo’s visit to his house and the clarification he made on the allegation of spearheading his incarceration. In his usual jocular nature, told Deji that Keyamo got a copy of a video he did against Buhari and Atiku without knowing that the said video is against them and Deji queried if he parted with money. Charly Boy answered in the affirmative, having known his kind of person. This was the audio Deji shamelessly circulated just to discredit a man that is today, the face of activism and youth emancipation in Nigeria.
This, Charly Boy did innocently and even told Deji to come over so they could discuss the issue and how best to get justice for him and continue the struggle.
As a region, we observe this as a media gang up. For Deji who had severally pleaded that the movement endorsed his party for presidency which we never yielded as the group is not in the business of endorsement, he considers this as an opportunity to topple the leadership with some segments of the media.

For a group that is duly incorporated with constitution, we consider the statement of one Ralph Adebayo the expelled National Publicity Secretary of the movement asking Area Fada, Charly Boy to step aside as laughable. One wonders in which meeting, presided over by who that it was resolved that our National Leader steps aside.
For a tribal bigot like Adenuji Deji who delights in blackmail and would be willing to do same to his parents . This was how he was also hired sometime ago to rubbish Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader whom he claimed was mouthy but appears to be more mouthy than Kanu who is driven by his ideology.
In as much as we know Nigerians, they do not take such fibble, fable and jaundiced statement by a drowning man serious. We consider the biased media hype given to the allegation as highly sectional and not good for the media profession and the unity of Nigeria in a time like this.

No doubt, our national leader has his approach to issues like this as he believes that the innocent fears no allegation hence he even chose to make mockery of these elements whose stock in trade is blackmail. There have even been so many similar allegations in which, Charley Boy made scandalous statements against himself in an attempt to promote his brand.
We hereby, condemn in very strong terms the antics and dangerous intrigues of Deji and his co-travellers to achieve some obvious selfish end and state categorically that our leader is beyond blemish in this matter. We say this, having known him for a very long time and how he plays over issues which of cause do not deter him.

BREAKING; Nigeria election: APC calls for arrest, investigation of Atiku, PDP leadersThe All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organization has petitioned the Inspector General of Police and the Director General of State Security Service, DSS, to invite, interrogate and investigate the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP leadership and its Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, over their illegal access to the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. Making its demands in the petition obtained by DAILY POST, and signed by Festus Keyamo, “Despite the shortness of time before the Presidential/National Assembly Elections, and the lack of time to first simulate the process to ensure its effectiveness in a country like ours with problems of effective networks in many rural areas and constant failure of technological devices, together with its violation of the time frame of such laws as provided for in regional and continental Protocols in terms of the length of time required for the passage of such laws before any major election, the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party was hell-bent that the President should sign the Bill into law. That was the first indication that the main opposition was up to something sinister regarding the electronic transmission of the results. “Upon the last-minute postponement of the February 16, 2019, Presidential/National Assembly Elections, the nation was shocked to see already prepared presidential elections results floating around in the cyberspace just less than 24 hours after the postponed election was originally billed to hold! The fake results had details of the scores of the candidates of the major parties. Of course, the fake results gave victory to the candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, even when elections did not hold. “The only conclusion one can draw from the above is that the PDP had prepared those results which were to be smuggled into the INEC Server. However, the sudden postponement of the election scuttled that evil plan, but it was too late to restrain the release of the fake results. “The proper elections were held on February 23, 2019 and President Muhammadu Buhari declared the winner. This is not INEC’s website but its server! ‘ I was one of the early members in the movement. We moved from lagos to Abuja. After 2 years,I left because the movement was solely funded by one man, as a photographer and a media aid,i was staying at the Boulevard (Charly Boy’s home). If I needed to buy shaving stick or anything, I went to Area Fada, this for me was not sustainable even though Fada was not complaining.
I had to move on, because I needed a space to do business and explore my craft and Abuja did not seem to me like a place favorable for a person like me to go commercial.
So I left Abuja but was always in talks with Area Fada.
What I know about Deji and Area Fada’s disagreements.
When the movement adopted Deji Adeyanju, I got a lot of comments from my friends especially in Ekiti. I remembered how Sarumi would jokingly say; Shey Deji ni emba shey struggle ti inu yin ndu(You are partnering with Deji in struggle and you are excited),
Wale(Icon Gold), would always maintain that Deji is no activist but a politically active youth that has pitched his tent with the umbrella party.
I had no cause to doubt Deji’s sincerity of purpose because he didn’t seem to me like any of that.
The man Charly Boy will never hide anything from all the people he works with, the man boy is an open book and the most humble celebrity I know. I remember how Fani Kayode reached out to us during the #ResumeOrResign protest, we discussed the matter and together we agreed to avoid Fani, there was a time someone even advised we met Saraki, unanimously we agreed to avoid these politicians.
The people that gave support to the movement were known friends of Area Father who were not politically motivated and we all knew how much came in and how it was or will be spent, even though the money was most times insufficient, I told myself that money was not the motivation, eventually some of Fada’s friends pulled out their support because they disliked Deji, but Fada however went ahead to adopt the politician, who’s now a self acclaimed activist, involved in this conspiracy to smear Fadas integrity. Maybe this is where consistency meets inconsistency.
I still remember how we planned some actions and had to cancel because Father was broke.
It’s harder now for me to believe this attack on Area Father is not politically motivated, knowing Deji’s sympathy for the PDP, as a PDP poster boy. Please I am posting the two songs so you can make your own conclusion. Fada hated APC and PDP with passion. Just wondering why no one saw the unbiased attack on the two leading political parties.

On the video matter, Area Fada told me he was given 4million as a payoff for his intellectual property ( atiku’s video). He told Festus that if he uses his work without his permission he would sue him since Festus has already indicated interest. Tomorrow I will reveal the connection between Fada, Festus and Deji, it goes way back no be today. I was aware of all that is playing out today in January, it didn’t bother me, especially because I knew the man had a right to his private life and his choice friends was not my headache.
If Deji was not in prison during the election era, I’m sure he would have known about Festus Keyamo’s visit and the aftermath, I sabi say Father no dey secretive. I can tell you that for free.
Every other action that got support, Deji was in the know and if not that Fada told me some of those things, no one cried foul.
The actions Deji later participated in with the movement(OMDD)was it self financed?
What makes this one any different?
It’s however sad how partisanship has successfully masqueraded itself into our struggle, it has indeed been diluted. But I believe as usual Fada will bounce right back. Believe me, he is a fighter.
