The Convener, Good Governance Ministry (GGM), the first political ministry in Nigeria , Mr Chinedu Asuzu, has stated that the present agitation for the State Of Biafra will be redefined when people begin to experience Good Governance .Chinedu said that many of our people were too emotional about Biafra that they have ignorantly thought that power is an emotional game. Chinedu expressed his utter disappointment with the level of knowledge gap when it comes to the issue of Biafra . He therefore stated that good governance is the first thing our people should demand for before any other thing .
Asuzu, who made the call during an hour radio phone-in programme aired on Monday being 7th March ,2022 at Odenigbo 99.1 FM Obosi, frowned at the wickedness and selfishness of our political class to give the people Good Governance .
” Our people are so maltreated ,neglected and abandoned by the political elites that the income gaps between the poor and the rich are everyday widening with no solution at sight ,hence the cause of the agitations from different quarters . You could imagine that pensioners in many states in the south east have not been paid . A particular case in Anambra where Pensioners Gratuity were missing since 2017 yet we have an Accountant as the Governor.
Asuzu said that many people he met on the street have rejected Nigeria and electoral process because of issue of mistrust. Chinedu assured the radio listeners that the only way to resolve our issue is not to abandon political struggle no matter its deficiencies but to get actively involved to elect credible and passionate people who will serve public interest.
Some Callers said that they have lost total confidence in Nigeria system ,hence the resolve for a new nation called Biafra. While others acknowledged the efforts of GGM and Chinedu Asuzu to educate our people on the relationship between Biafra agitation and Good Governance pledging for their unalloyed supports towards ensuring that Good Governance reigns in our land.
