The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, is scheduled to address the way forward for Africa at the “Igniting the Voice of Africa” convention in Ghana tomorrow.

The convention will take place at Ghana’s Kwame Nkrumah Independence Square, starting at 5 p.m.

Hosted by the New Africa Foundation, the “Igniting the Voice of Africa” convention serves as a platform for African leaders to contemplate the continent’s developmental path, aiming to chart a course for the future.

Coinciding with Ghana’s inauguration day, the event not only assesses leadership but also strives to promote unity among Africans, fostering a shared vision of progress.

In addition to Peter Obi, other African leaders will also speak at the event. Julius Makema from South Africa, P. Lumumba from Kenya, and Dr. Arikana from Zimbabwe are expected to deliver speeches, emphasizing effective leadership and the involvement of youth in advancing one of the Foundation’s core objectives — contributing to Africa’s development.
