PSG Wins First-Ever Champions League Title

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has made history by winning their first UEFA Champions League title, defeating Inter Milan 5-0 in the final held at Munich’s Allianz Arena on June 1, 2025. This dominant victory marks the largest margin of win in a Champions League final since 1956.

PSG’s triumph makes them the second French club to win the European Cup, following Marseille’s victory in 1993. Coach Luis Enrique, who previously led Barcelona to the title in 2015, secures his second Champions League win.

This win completes a historic treble for PSG, who had already secured Ligue 1 and Coupe de France titles earlier in the season. The team’s shift from a “galactico” approach to a more balanced, team-focused strategy under Luis Enrique has paid off, bringing European glory to the Parisians.
