Alaigbo Set For Massive Development

The president General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo has inaugurated the 54-member Steering Committee for the Alaigbo Stabilization Fund. Inaugurating the Committee in a Zoom virtual meeting with the members, Chief Nwodo stated that the fund was envisioned as a key instrument to articulate strategies, mobilize resources and coordinate policies to assuage the deep yearnings of Ndigbo for a prosperous, developed and happy homeland.
Chief Nwodo said that the South-East Governors Forum, the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and indeed the entire Igbo nation are resolved to urgently address the current infrastructural deficit and developmental gap in the zone occasioned by the total neglect of the area by the Federal Government since after the civil war in-order to build a home land that is industrialized with modern world-class physical and social infrastructure, competitive, attractive for investments and generates employment for the teaming youthful population.

The President General said to achieve these, Ndigbo need a new and creative funding mechanism with Alaigbo Stabilization Fund as its cornerstone.
Chief Nwodo said that among other terms of reference, the committee shall make recommendations for the establishment, institutional governance and development, structure and organization, funding and sustainability of the fund to ensure it operates on sound legal organizational and financial principles including making good returns on investments as well as to fulfill the social and developmental needs of Igboland.

The President General charged the Committee to carry out their assignment assiduously so that the benefit of the fund would spread throughout the seven Igbo speaking States and even percolate to other neighbouring States so that the Kith and Kin in those States would also benefit from the scheme.

Chief Nwodo thanked the members of the committee for volunteering to serve gratuitously in the all-important body, especially the Chairman, Prof Osita Ogbu, who he said offered his wealth of experience in the United Nations service, the Federal Government and as Professor of Development Economics.

He also thanked the Prof Charles Soludo-led Ohanaeze Planning and Strategy Committee, whose behind the scene advice, he said, evolved into the setting up of the Fund.

The President General poured special encomiums on the Governors of the South-East for standing solidly behind the establishment of Alaigbo Stabilization Fund without which it could not have been realized, adding that the people will never forget this crop of Governors for giving them a new lease of life.

Responding, the Chairman of the Steering Committee for the Fund, Prof Osita Ogbu, commended the selfless service, visionary leadership and clarity of expression of Chief Nwodo.
Prof Ogbu said that Chief Nwodo, working with the tacit support of the Governors, has made his regime intelligent, purposeful and exemplary, worthy of emulation and place in history, as the fire lit by the Governors and Ohanaeze Ndigbo would burn far into the future.

He implored the Governors to remain fastidious as the anchor of the fund and pledged that the enthusiasm shown by the members of the committee would ensure that they come out with far reaching positive conclusions.
The committee is expected to submit its report soon.

Obiano Bans Open Grazing,Orders The Arrest of Defaulters

Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, has banned the grazing of animals on the premises all schools in the state.

He ordered that any herdsman found violating his ban order should be arrested.

Obiano gave the order through his Senior Special Assistant on Security, Ostar Christopher, during the Anambra State Cattle Menace Control Committee meeting held at the conference hall of the government house in Awka, the state capital on Thursday.

The meeting was chaired the Commissioner of Police in the state, John Abang and had in attendance the leader of the Cattle Breeders Association in the South-East, Gidado Sidikki, and some traditional rulers.

The governor warned that the state would no longer tolerate disobedience to government orders as demonstrated by some herders in the past who had continued to destroy crops, farms and the university environments in the state.

He said, “The action of the herders in the state has prompted this marching order and we are no longer going to tolerate such disobedience.

“We enjoin the herders and farmers in the state to obey the law or face the wrath of government.

“We will set up a committee to assess compensation for damages; but don’t be outrageous with your bills.”

The Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in the South- East, Alhaji Gidado Sidikki, called for a cordial relationship between herders and host communities, promising to relate the government order to his members.

NNAMDI KANU SECRETLY BEGS IGBO LEADERS FOR A SOFT LANDING AFTER HIS CATASTROPHIC DOWNFALL

NNAMDI KANU SECRETLY BEGS IGBO LEADERS FOR A SOFT LANDING AFTER HIS CATASTROPHIC DOWNFALL

I have said it countless time that Nnamdi Kanu, the fugitive leader of the proscribed group, IPOB can never restore Biafra. In fact, I’m 150% sure that Kanu and his legions of thugs (followers) lacks what it takes to make Biafra a reality. This is a scientific statement and not a mere hypothetical rhetoric. In 2015, when many of us thought that the voice barking on the malicious radio had something different to offer, little did we know that it was another bunch of confidence trickster scrambling to gain fame and money
Kanu has become a big setback that will be forever remembered in Igbo land. He came to destroy, divide and plant a seed of hatred and bitterness in the minds of our people. Through his toxic sermon on his franchise radio, he has damaged and reduced many Igbo youths to mere miscreants who can hardly articulate ABCD without throwing unprintable abuses

Lies have been the trademark of the fugitive leader of IPOB. Kanu and his obnoxious radio can’t survive a minute without lies. Lies is the air he breathes and the food he eats. Anyday he stops spitting lies, his IPOB empire will crash and automatically, he will nosedive into extinction without anyone even remembering that a conman like him once existed. He lied about 40 million ballot papers, referendum, hitech farming and returning to Nigeria with hell. A man that can make one thousand promises in a second but ends up not fulfilling anyone. A dictator with multiple tongues

Since Nnamdi Kanu has seen that there is no headway in his antiquated approach to Biafra question, he is now scavenging for every open option to make peace with the same Igbo leaders he abused on his janjaweed radio. Our people shouldn’t be surprised over the recent news making round that Nnamdi Kanu and some Igbo stakeholders have brokered peace. He is seeking for a soft landing after discovering that his overbearing disposition will only make his stay in exile permanent. So, the only way he can return to his fathers compound is to cry and beg Igbo leaders whom he battered on his malicious radio to forgive him. The resolutions of the peace and reconciliation meeting which was facilitated by Nzuko Ummuna is just a smokescreen. It was designed to sway his gullible followers from what is happening behind closed doors.

The lgbo stakeholders must be very wary of Nnamdi Kanu. He is not a man to be trusted. I can still remember how Kanu boasted to his gullible audience that the Southeast leaders are irrelevant and he can do without them. But today, the same elders he maligned are the ones working assiduously to clean up the mess he littered in every length and breadth of the region. Every right discerning mind that studied the resolutions reached in the meeting Nnamdi Kanu had with the Igbo stakeholders will understand the simple arithmetic therein. The resolutions signifies that Kanu has embraced ‘one Nigeria’ and abandoned the Biafra project he vowed to restore. I’m not against Kanu over his new found road map (one Nigeria) but my problem with him is that he has succeeded in desecrating the name of Biafra on the alter of foolishness and ego

Now that Kanu has accepted defeat, can he allow us to have a breathe of fresh air? The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra should hide his face in shame. The same elders he thought he could muzzle have humbled him. IPOB members have been deceived and cheated by their lying saviour but will they ever learn anything from his betrayal? Kanu’s followers are like stubborn flies that follows the corpse to the grave.

Southeast stakeholders must not give Nnamdi Kanu any form of soft landing. He must remain in exile until when we have seen genuine repentance in him. Anything short of that is an invite to continue with his dirty antics. Kanu should not be allowed to destroy Ala Igbo completely. He is a confusionist that can do anything to remain relevant.

2023 Election Scattered Ohanaeze

As the Igbo continue the clamour for 2023 presidency, the emergence of a new group, Ohanaeze General Assembly, has been described as plot to destabilise Ndigbo.

Speaking with Saturday Sun, the National Publicity Secretary of the pro-Igbo body, Uche Achi-Opaga, said the new group will fizzle out as it came, because it doesn’t have foundation.

According to him, “calling them a splinter group is even giving them some kind of hype; they are just looking for recognition because Ohanaeze is the umbrella body of the Igbo worldwide, it is a brand name. So, they want to identify with it in order to be seen or heard; if they have given themselves any other name, nobody would have taken notice of them; they added the name ‘Ohanaeze’ in order to attract attention. Gradually, they may be said to be achieving their aim as they are using that name to climb to limelight. It is just childish that at this point in time, the people that are matured could engage in this kind of puerile and pedestrian activity.

“As 2023 is approaching, people want to put their hands here and there in order to put things together and climb. I keep telling people that notoriety is not popularity; they are just being notorious in this kind of act. What they are doing is laughable.”

While affirming that it was a plot to destabilise the Igbo, he warned Igbo politicians to learn what has happened in the Southwest, “where the person who thought he was the alpha and omega in a party has been displaced, in spite of the warnings by senior citizens and leaders from that region.”

“In the same way, some Igbo politicians who think they are climbing are now being used, and to be dumped later. They have started, they feel that Ohanaeze could be a veritable tool if they were able to balkanize it to achieve their aim. So coming to balkanize it is meaningless.”

On the allegation by the group that the mainstream Ohanaeze has turned to a political tool in the hands of greedy politicians, Achi-Opaga, retorted, “what do you expect them to say? Once you want to achieve your mischievous aim, you will give a dog a bad name in order to hang it. Where would they lay their hands if they don’t say such a thing? If you say Ohanaeze has been politicized; how has it been politicized? Ohanaeze is moving forward on its stand; we stand for restructuring, and we have been singing it as a song that until Nigeria is restructured it will continue to be like a stationery machine, all motion and no movement.”

On if the new group was being sponsored by an internal or external influence, Achi-Opaga stated that, “nothing is impossible, especially in Nigeria; nothing goes for nothing. Our people say, if you see a bird dancing on the road, there is someone in the bush beating the drums for it. So, it can’t be completely wrong if you say they are being sponsored. What they are doing is childish, meaningless. Their attempt to try to destabilise Ohanaeze is meaningless. We have tenure, and at the end of it, another set of executives would come in, and continue from where its predecessors stopped. If you want to be an executive of Ohanaeze, you have the chance to do so by presenting yourself during election next year, when the tenure of the present executives expires, and state what you have to offer, but trying to balkanize it is very pedestrian.”

Tinubu: Happy Retirement: Femi Kayode

OPEN LETTER TO JAGABAN OF BORGU …. By Femi Fani-Kayode
My dearest Jagaban,
You know very well that I have always liked and respected you. You will also recall that a few years ago I warned you that everything that is being done to you today would eventually be done to you given the choices you made at the time.
I bear you no malice or ill-will but in view of what is happening in your political party and given the fact that your good friend, co-conspirator and collaborator, President Muhammadu Buhari, has finally thrown you under the bus and dumped you, I am constrained to write the following.
The bitter truth is that you predicted NOTHING and you saw NOTHING. The only thing you saw were your own vain delusions and insatiable greed and the only thing you felt and that moved you was your blind ambition.
You sold your body, spirit and soul to the enemy and betrayed your people even though we warned you over and over again that those you were dining with were far smarter and far more astute than you.
Yet even though all the signs were there you dismissed our concerns, vilified us, treated us with contempt, demonized us and sought to destroy us.
Now the chickens have come home to roost and the writing is on the wall. The signs are there for all to see. You betrayed and sold Lagos. You betrayed and sold the South West. You betrayed and sold the South East.  You betrayed and sold the South South. You betrayed and sold the Middle Belt. You betrayed and sold the North East. You betrayed and sold the North West. You betrayed and sold the Muslims and you betrayed and sold the Christians.
Simply put you betrayed and sold EVERYTHING and EVERYONE in Nigeria just to feed and satisfy your psychotic obsession and compulsive ambition.
Like Icarus the Greek, you flew too high and too close to the sun with your wax wings, puffed up and fuelled by your hubris and pride and now you shall meet your nemesis. The spiritual wound that has been inflicted on you is irreversible and terminal and there is no going back.
The dark clouds that lie ahead of you are thick, ugly, frightful, violent and impassable: you cannot make it through them safely or survive them. Your enemies have dug a pit for you and you have already fallen into it.
They have finally stripped you naked, grabbed you by your balls and taken everything from you.
You have lost your mystique, honor, glory, self-respect, following, clout, pride, reputation and so much more. You have also lost control of the political party that you conceived, formed, nurtured and built. The APC was your baby and now they have taken it from you and are set to kill it.
They fooled you, used you, dimped you and humiliated you and now they are going to expose you, rubbish you, malign you, break you, crucify you, investigate you and utterly crush you.
You dreamed of being Vice President in 2015 and you failed. You are dreaming of being President in 2023 and you will fail.
In all your plans what you failed to appreciate is that God alone rules in the affairs of men. You refused to acknowledge or accept the fact that the Presidency of Nigeria can only be given by God and He gives it to whom He deems fit by prophecy and divine decree.
It is not about money and power and if it were Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Yar’adua, Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari, who had neither of the two before being respectively elected as President, would never had made it.
It is about God and God alone. It is for Him alone to give. It is about His purpose, His will, His counsel, His plan and His glory.
He OWNS the Presidency and the minute any man or woman attempts to usurp His role and think that he or she can buy it or manoeuvre his or her way into it by the usage of political intrigues, guile, sagacity, wisdom, power, knowledge, money or anything else, the Lord disqualifies and rejects him.
Such a person will fail woefully and may even end up losing everything he or she values and cherishes in his futile quest.
God will never share His glory with anyone and He will never support a man or woman that is prepared to mislead, betray and sell his own people down the river just to satisfy his vaulting  and insatiable ambition of becoming President.
Yet the signs were there but you refused to acknowledge or accept them.
They refused to give you a formal position in the National Executive. They ensured that some of your key loyalists in the South West turned against you and opposed you.
They refused to accept even ONE of your Ministerial nominees both in 2015 and 2019. They humiliated your protegee who you nominated as Vice President and turned him into a pliant and pathetic little errand boy with no testicular fortitude or shame.
They drove your nominee at FIRS out of office unceremoniously and have placed him under criminal investigation.
They have divided the ranks of your loyalists and turned even your hitherto most trusted lieutenants against you.
They insulted, undermined, marginalised you openly and worse of all they made it clear to you privately that they would NEVER give you power.
All this meant nothing to you and you shamelessly continued to support their evil ways and toe their satanic and murderous line.
Yet if you did not care about what they subjected you to you ought to have at least cared about what they did to Nigeria.
For the last five years our nation and people have suffered because of the calamitious choices that you made and the inexplicable and unconciable alliances that you forged.
You propped up and supported a ruthless, heartless, corrupt, bloodthirsty and cruel regime and tyrant and a President that is clearly beside himself and whose mental and physical faculties reside in another realm and in another world.
Consequently our nation has been utterly and completely destroyed, our economy ruined and our people decimated.
They have been slaughtered, butchered, pauperised, emasculated, humiliated, marginalised, insulted and impoverished.
Hundreds of thousands of them have been murdered in cold blood in their homes, towns, villages and farms and millions have been displaced.
Millions more have been ruined and economically destroyed whilst our country remains weak, divided and the butt of cruel  jokes all over the world.
Because of your choices Nigerians are being subjected to persecution, physically attacked, enslaved, humiliated, lynched, scorned, maimed, killed, disgraced, evicted and declared persona non grata both at home and in distant foreign lands whilst our foreign Embassies are being demolished by miscreants and local criminals even in supposedly friendly countries.
I sincerely hope thet one day you will reflect on all this and consider the damage you have done to your kinsmen and compatriots.
Whether you do or not is left to you but one thing that is clear: for the choices you have made, for all you have done and for the sheer wickedness and greed that resides in your insensitive and dark heart you will pay a heavy price both in this world and in the world to come and the Lord will hand you over to your political enemies.
Permit me to conclude by quoting the instructive words of a tweet that I posted just yesterday after I heard about the latest developments in your party. I wrote,
“First Oshiomole is kicked out by the Court of Appeal. Then his preferred replacement, Ajimobi, falls into a coma. Then his arch rival, Giadom, is recognised by Buhari as National Chairman.
Conclusion: it is over for Tinubu. He has been thrown under the bus and retired from politics!”
I stand by those words. Happy retirement my dearest Jagaban: may you live long to see the glory of our country restored and the damage that you have done to our people repaired. Shalom.

Tony Nnadi: You Misfired- Dr Law Mefor

Ordinarily, I would not have gratified Tony Nnadi’s diatribe and his phantom Kuje Prison visit Report, Referendum with any response. I would have let it to be consigned to where it belongs – the trashcan. But on a second thought, I also know that a lie repeated too often passes for the truth. Tony Nnadi has perfected this art and perfidy, and lives off it. So, when I read his harangue against me and Ngozi Odumuko, the coordinator of Nzuko Umunna, and some others, I knew he was on the same worn, old road – confusing gullible minds who unfortunately are everywhere.
For the avoidance of doubt, more than 3 years ago, a pan Igbo organisation of which I was a member, Nzuko Umunna, thought it necessary to pay Nnamdi Kanu a solidarity visit when he was still in Kuje Prison. I was a part of that delegation, which succeeded in arousing the government to soften its stand.
For the benefit of those who didn’t read his tirade against me and others, here are the core claims of Tony Nnadi, among other rants: “It might interest us to learn that Law Mefor was the Secretary of the Nzuko Umunna Visitation Delegation to Kuje Prison, February 28, 2017…which went to discuss with Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB Confederates…  The Meeting-Within-Meeting which I had with Nnamdi Kanu regarding the Issues of Strategy and Methodology over which the LNC differed IRRECONCILABLY with the totally meaningless “Biafra Restoration” Agitation,  in the presence of the Delegation, prompted Nnamdi to tell the Delegation the full story of  his Meeting with me 2013 in Lagos where he rejected the 8-Point Strategy of the LNC (including REFERENDUM as the mechanism of consummating the Self-Determination/Independence Campaign).”
Yes, as already stated,  I was part of the delegation of Nzuko Umunna that paid  Nnamdi Kanu a solidarity visit in Kuje to express the concern of Igbo leaders over his plight, not a meeting. Tony Nnadi was however truthful enough to admit thus: “The Meeting-Within-Meeting which I had with Nnamdi Kanu regarding the Issues of Strategy and Methodology… the 8-Point Strategy of the LNC (including REFERENDUM as the mechanism of consummating the Self-Determination/Independence Campaign).”
So, there was a meeting within the visit, which only him was privy to. Why then does he expect the Secretary (if there was one) to capture the deliberations of the private,  aside dialogue between him and Nnamdi Kanu? That was neither possible nor necessary since it was not part of the agenda  for the visitation. If it was, the delegates’ appointed leader and spokesman would have introduced and led that discussion and it would be captured in the text of the press conference written the night before. So his lie is too obvious to pass any basic scrutiny.
Tony Nnadi has also painted the picture that the delegation of Nzuko Umunna visited Nnamdi Kanu to discuss Strategy and Methodology (of his struggle). This couldn’t have been the case, going by the very nature of the visit, the setting (a federal prison where conversations could be tapped), and the restructuralist stand of Nzuko Umunna and the delegates themselves. His claim is dumb and implausible to say the least and therefore a figment of his weird imagination if not a psychiatric delusion.
He further claimed that Ngozi Odumuko and I as secretary suppressed the report of that visit. Again his words: “Between Law Mefor and the Coordinator/Leaders of Nzuko Umunna, the Report from the Kuje Visitation was suppressed and that was the point at which the Igbo Leadership Collective TRAGICALLY lost the opportunity of turning the exertions of the IPOB into Positive Capital and Fuel for the LNC/MNN Grand Strategy. The Law Mefor Secretaryship of that February 28, 2017 Kuje Visitation Delegation was central to the Suppression of the Report of what transpired in the Kuje Meeting…”
It is rather strange that Tony Nnadi is claiming there should be a report on solidarity visit. What is there to really report that was not captured in the press conference? The mission was one: solidarity (to express the concern of Igbo leaders) and when the Nzuko Umunna delegation was done with the visitation, the delegates addressed a press conference, the text of which, as read out to the pressmen, was widely reported in the media. Some of the print media published the text of the press conference  verbatim.
I think I understand Tony Nnadi’s motive for writing in such a bitter manner. It is out of the funny rivalry between him as the leader of the so-called LNC and the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Each wants to be the only cock crowing in the yard, and have been running each other down, and engaging in unprintable name calling to riddle Ndigbo within and outside Nigeria. Because of such antics and shenanigans, many wonder what life would be like in Biafra were it to come, Afghanistan, Somalia or Southern Sudan?
While fighting off attempts to bring sanity and reconciliation among the Biafra agitators, Tony Nnadi is blaming a phantom prison report . He also says Nnamdi Kanu is running away with referendum, which was his idea. I thought that if his mission is altruistic and for common good, he should thank God that Kalu/IPOB have agreed to incorporate his proposal. But because the goal is not for common good, who takes the credit for whatever becomes uppermost on his grandiose mind. As at now, there is a bitter war between the two over who would be the President of the Biafra Republic when and if it comes, and who gets recognized as the authentic Biafra agitation leader. That is the abysmal level to which the Biafra struggle has degenerated – a private and business franchise of Tony Nnadi and his co-journeymen.
A Word Caution on the Lower Niger Congress  – LNC
LNC can best be described as an amorphous organisation. LNC ought to have a President but nobody has ever seen or heard of him or her. Last I checked, LNC has no members , just Tony Nnadi and his long-winded thesis of how to tear down the Nigerian state and create 4 or 6 nations out it after a referendum. He has a map of the new nations, which is all over the social media, without any clear idea or trajectory of HOW to actualise same.
Yes, he is right; I  did not give the so-called alternative option of LNC/MNN any attention in my “A Memo to Ndigbo in the Diaspora” because it largely constituted a journey to where. It lacks ideological clarity, and plausible and predictable end.
For the avoidance of doubt, in the timetable drawn by Tony Nnadi for the pulling down of the Nigerian nation (the House of Lugard as he derogatorily chose to call it) and the emergence of his imagined 4 to 6 nations therefrom, there should be an UN-mandated referendum in Nigeria this December 2020, another clear evidence that his design is nothing but subterfuge, which serves no useful purpose other than fleecing unsuspecting Ndigbo in Nigeria and in the diaspora.
Summarily, let me reiterate: our Kuje solidarity visit was not for a meeting and could not have been, and therefore shouldn’t have any report beyond the text of the press conference thereafter. There is no missing link. If he has a report of his “the meeting within the meeting” with Nnamdi Kanu on the sideline, let him publish it.  The delegates even if they eavesdropped, cannot dispute or confirm it since they were not involved in his report on their dialogue.
I really don’t want to join issues further with Tony Nnadi. A man who decides to deploy con as a means of livelihood deserves my sympathy. I will never choose that path because of honour and decency. I’d rather consult for politicians in line with my training and experience as he said I do.
Permit me to place it once more on record: I cannot agree with Tony Nnadi because my stance is known and in the public domain: I believe in a Restructured Nigeria (which incidentally is also the position of the generality of our people, settled in 2018 at the Awka Declaration of Ndigbo). Yes, I believe that a restructured Nigeria is best for Ndigbo and the rest of Nigeria. I can only reassess my position if restructuring fails.
This same position is my point of departure with IPOB. Marginalisation of Ndigbo is real and protesting it by the Biafra agitators is legitimate but I do not share in their methods and the goal of sovereign state of Biafra or Lower Niger Republic, whatever that means.
Tony Nnadi and others who believe in independence  should pursue it with decency and within the law, and should stop blackmailing those of us who want Restructured Nigeria. We too are entitled to our position as they are entitled to theirs.
Dr. Law Mefor

Ikenga Ugochinyere Thanks Nigerians

 *THANK YOU NIGERIANS*
I AM FINALLY OUT, STRONGER AND DETERMINED TO FIGHT ON AND SO RESOLUTE THAT EVEN WITH A GUN ON MY HEAD I CANNOT ABANDON THE STRUGGLE TO WAKE UP INCAPACITATED LEADERS AND THEIR POLITICAL ALLELUIA BOYS TO THEIR RESPONSIBILITY OR FLUSH THEM OUT FOR A NEW DAWN.
 Comrades and countrymen
On Thursday 18th June, 2020 at about 5:30pm I was abducted in a violent manner by men of the Nigeria Police Force as I stepped out of the Headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC where I had attended a meeting to regularize the Edo and Ondo governorship primaries schedule of the Action Peoples Party, a political Party of which I am Chairman.
Following my abduction, I was shown a petition authored and engineered by the lawless Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila and the clerk of the House of Representatives forwarding a resolution of the House where the Police was directed to arrest me following comments I made about the shady attempt to pass the Control of Infectious Diseases Bill, comments that I strongly and I repeat strongly stand on for which even in international and local  fora we have been commended for standing against the plot of using of our  legislature to pursue sinister objectives.
However before my arrest and abduction which had no warrant of arrest, I had challenged the setting up of a kangaroo ad hoc Committee by the Speaker against whom I made the comments as the law forbids him to be a judge in his own case and the conduct of the Henry Nwawuba Committee which sat and purported to have concluded its investigations without ever inviting me and the Committee sat only once in public and ran away on the day of my so called appearance only to go to Gbajabiamila bedroom to take what they said is evidence from him. The treacherous conduct of Henry Nwawuba who chaired the kangaroo ad hoc committee and other opposition lawmakers like Ndudi Elumelu, Igariwe and Goroko who have turned into double agents for the crumbling APC Government in the House led by a dishonest Speaker will be discussed in full after meeting with our alliance partners.  I also sought to protect my fundamental rights which were likely to be breached by the unlawful conduct of Speaker Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, the House of Representatives, the Clerk of the House, the Nigeria Police Force and the State Security Services.
The both Courts granted certain orders including restraining the Police in clear terms from arresting or detaining me in any manner or give effect to the very resolution of the House which had been forwarded to the Police Inspector General. Despite that these orders were served on the House and the Police, they both in flagrant disobedience authored the petition and arrested me.
When I was asked to make my cautionary statement by the Police I wrote that there was a valid and subsisting order of court which I would not aid them to violate as their act of arresting me was unlawful and illegal. The court had barred Femi and his kangaroo panel from sitting but he ignored, the court barred him from making any resolution but he intimidated and misled the House to make a resolution against me, the court barred him from sending the report to Police and SSS and for an arrest or investigation not be made based on the documents but they disobeyed the court. Despite all the above, they summarily threw me into the overcrowded cell in Maitama Police Station despite the COVID-19 dangers for a non-existing offense.
My lawyers obtained a further order of the FCT High Court which ordered my unconditional release from the illegal detention of the Police. Also the Abuja Chief Magistrate Court before whom the Police arraigned me granted me bail the conditions of which I have perfected and here we are.
At this point, I want to thank the eminent jurists of the Federal High Court and FCT High Court Justices O. A. Musa as well as Taiwo O. Taiwo who had since recused himself from the case due to the intimidation and harassment from the Speaker; a very condemnable act for a head of a legislative House but what do u expert from a man who shamelessly defrauded a dying woman. These judges were bold in the face of a barrage of intimidation orchestrated by the Speaker to assert the independence and impartiality of the judiciary. Accolades also go to the Chief Magistrate who stood firm and rejected the application by the Police to continue to keep me in illegal detention. I appreciate with caution the police for not allowing pressure from Femi to commit the outdated assault of daring the court and abducting me again.
Special thanks to my team of lawyers. I never lost faith. I was in high spirits because I was very sure you would do your best to enforce the law. I also appreciate all other lawyer who volunteered their services to me free of charge. You all stood up to tyranny in Court yesterday and you won. You are truly heroes.
To the Nigeria media, I applaud you all. You saw the illegality and refused to keep quiet despite the harsh conditions under which you operate. I have nothing but commendations for the fourth estate of the realm. We shall continue to partner until we reclaim Nigeria and restore it to the path of progress and prosperity.
I am also very grateful to all eminent Nigerians who made statements calling on the Inspector General of Police to obey the law. To us, obedience to the rule of law and constitutionality is non-negotiable. Nigeria is a democracy and no man is above the law.
Special mention goes to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON, Dr. Bukola Saraki CFR, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Senator Dino Melaye, Senator Shehu Sani, Comrade Timi Frank, Comrade Deji Adeyanju, the Revolutionary fighter Omoleye Sowore, Chief Dan Nwanyanwu, Alloy Ejimako, the Peoples Democratic Party, leadership of CUPP, Secretary General of  CNPP, my colleague National Chairmen, the IPAC leadership led by Dr. Leonard Nzenwa,  the courageous incoming NBA President Mr. Olumide Akpata, the Nigeria Bar Association (Capital Bar and Unity Bar), Prof. Chidi Odinkalu and the entire members of the Open Bar Initiative, the National Youth Council of Nigeria and all ethnic and religious youth groups, National Association of Nigeria Students, Civil Society Organizations, members of the House of Representatives especially the peoples legitimate minority caucus led by Hon. Kingsley Chinda, family, friends, associates and many more who for want of space I would have added your names but I will be calling in the days ahead. For your sacrifices and belief in our course and the rule of law, we shall not let you down.
I hereby seize this opportunity to restate my commitment to the struggle for the liberation of Nigeria. This illegal detention is one of the numerous benefits of being a soldier of truth and apostle of the rule of law. We were not cowed neither did we negotiate nor trade off our right to free speech as our oppressors desired. We have come out stronger and more determined. If only the adversary knew that the groundswell of support and show of love would have prepared us better, they would not have gone this route. We would continue to speak for good governance, rule of law and constitutionality.
It is on that note that I wish to inform you of the formal commencement of public interest actions to ensure accountability and uphold good leadership both at the executive and legislature. We are coming out hotter and harder and the iron bars and chains of the oppressors cannot stop us. The insecurity, leadership incapacitation, a country on auto pilot, a Parliament that has been turned into a Parliamentary baby sitting home for the executive because of the tainted leadership of one man called Femi Gbajabiamila etc shall be our focus.
I AM FINALLY OUT, STRONGER AND DETERMINED TO FIGHT ON AND SO RESOLUTE THAT EVEN WITH A GUN ON my HEAD I CANNOT ABANDON THE STRUGGLE TO WAKE UP INCAPACITATED LEADERS AND THEIR POLITICAL ALLELUIA BOYS TO THEIR RESPONSIBILITY. Dear Nigerians, you stood with us and for your sake our voices will rise higher this time until the oppressors and their comfort zones of evil are demolished and a people centered leadership elected at all levels.
