To spur the younger generation for a brighter future through value reorientation and support for academic excellence, the Good Governance Ministry, GGM, Friday being 28th July ,2023 presented cash rewards to outstanding primary 1 to 6 pupils of Osili Primary School, Enugwu-Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.

This is in addition to ongoing feeding of the entire school twice a week, all of which it was gathered , GGM is sponsoring in collaboration with Elvis Mbanefo Chiaghanam, diaspora Ambassador of GGM.

It should be noted that Cash Awards to best graduating pupils and feeding support started with the School last term being second term .

The NGO, at the end-term/ graduation ceremony of pupils of the school, also presented cash rewards to selected teachers of the school; to encourage them and others to rededicate selves to improved service delivery. Mrs Okafor Ginika got best Teacher’s Award

Speaking at the event, the leader of the Good Governance Ministry, Chinedu Asuzu said GGM is determined to change the narrative and bring about good governance, adding that with special focus on changing the mindset of the younger generation at the grassroot and encouraging them for academic excellence and right behavior, a better future is possible.

He also announced that the ministry will pay school fees of the best 3 pupils in primary 6 at any secondary school of their choice, calling on other privileged individuals and groups to emulate the gesture in order to enthrone a better society.

Contributing, an Ambassador of GGM, Ndubuisi Anaenugwu reminded the pupils that humility is needed to achieve academic excellence, urging them to be ready to give back to the society when they become successful in life.

Appreciating GGM for the kind gesture, the Headmaster of the school, Mr. Clement Okodo, on behalf of teachers and pupils, said they will continue to pursue academic excellence and right values, praying God to reward members of the GGM.

Osili Primary School Enugwu-Ukwu produced the UK-based Ambassador of Good Governance Ministry, Elvis Chiaghanam, Ndubisi Anaenugwu, among others.
