Naval Base to be Established in Enugu State Community- Chief of Naval Staff

The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ikechukwu Ogalla says, the Nigerian Navy is ready to establish a Naval base at the Ogurugu community, Uzo Uwani council area of Enugu State.

The Naval Chief represented by Rear Admiral Onyemaobi said that the committee had visited the Igwe’s palace to pay homage and also sought the support and cooperation of the people in making sure the naval base operations were actualized.

He appealed to the people to work in synergy with the military personnel who would be visiting the area from time to time by assisting them with the required support and information.

Addressing newsmen shortly after surveying the river, the senior military officer stated that the water has all the requirements for the establishment of the naval base and other naval facilities, stressing that it’s navigable, wide and strategic.

He assured that work would soon commence in the area even as he underscored that the project would assist in keeping the area safe for the citizens.

While assuring that the security and economic benefits of the naval base would serve the country as a whole, the Deputy Governor said Ogurugu was strategic to the country’s economic growth during the colonial era.

He revealed that their visit was necessitated by the desire of the Nigerian Navy to commence the project immediately, adding that the success of the project woulde depend on how Ogurugu, Iga, Asagba, and the entire Uzo Uwani council area give their support to the Navy.
Barr. Ossai, who said the naval establishment would include a designated area for building offices, training ground and residence, maintained that the state government under Governor Peter Mbah would soon commence the process of acquiring land for the project.

According to him, the Ogurugu community, Uzo Uwani council area and the state at large would be the greatest beneficiaries of the project once established in terms of security and robust economic drive.

“This project is going to secure your inland waterway. It’s going to trigger economic benefits for Ogurugu. It’s going to provide the much desperately needed security so that we can go back to our farms, and our commercial agriculture and begin to witness the same export Ogurugu had done in the 1930s and 1940s. What we expect is the maximum cooperation of everybody in the community and the local government to ensure speedy and immediate completion of the project,” the Deputy Governor added.

Appreciating the gesture of the government for the project, the council chairman, Hon. Chukwudi Nnadozie, said the people of the local government were glad that the project would give priority to the security of his people through an effective policing system.

He expressed gratitude to the state governor and the federal government for the choice of the local government, promising that they would give the navy whatever support it needed to facilitate the project and ensure its speedy completion.

Dignitaries at the visit included the Commissioner for Agriculture and Agro-Industrialisation, Hon. Patrick Nwabueze Ubro, Commissioner for Human Development and Poverty Eradication, Dr. Malachy Agbo, Chairmen of Igboeze North and Udenu local government areas, Hon. Ejike Itodo and Hon. Solomon Onah, respectively.

Others were, Commodore D C. Ekwom, Commodore S Ibrahim, Navy Captain U I Abubakar, Navy Captain A A Ibrahim, Command ander O. M. Williams, among others

Tinubu Vs Atiku: Chaos in Us Courtroom

BREAKING :-
Wahaluuurr in the US Courtroom

Angela Liu who is Atiku’s Attorney for the case against Tinubu about the Chicago University Certificate has stated Chicago University NEVER gave Tinubu any certificate.

The application made in Case No. 23-cv-5099 was filed pursuant to 28 United States Constitution 1782.

She already submitted a 24-paragraph declaration in support of the Application, pursuant to 28 U.S.C 1782, for an Order granting leave to serve the Subpoenas to Chicago State University attached to the Application as Exhibits 1 and 2.

Angela Liu stated “How can you have two certificates issued by the same university, to the same person, for the same course of study, but issued on different dates and signed by two different people”.

The certificates which Tinubu submitted in Nigeria are of 2 different kinds:

☝🏻 The first Chicago State University certificate which Bola Tinubu submitted to INEC was issued on 22 June 1979 and signed by 3 signatories including a certain Dr. Elnora Daniel whose signature is dated 22 June 1979.

✌🏼The second certificate supposedly issued to Mr Enahoro by Tinubu and tendered at the PEPT was issued on 27 June 1979 and now signed by 2 people and the same Dr. Elnora Daniel signed it but now the date changed to 27 June 1979 and a certain Dr. Niva Lubin also signed.

Now EVIDENCE has shown that Tinubu submitted 2 different certificates and both may even be fake. The 2 certificates have different fonts, they both have different dates, they both have different Chicago University Logo, they both have different grammer written, they both have different signatories.

Now here is the crazy part, the Dr. Elnora Daniel who Tinubu put on his certificate as a signatory for CSU in 1979 was NOT an employee of CSU in 1979
She was not employed by CSU until 1998
A whole 19 years after Tinubu allegedly graduated. So how did she sign in 1979 when the woman was not even an employee of Chicago University as at that time.

Also the second signatory Dr. Niva Lubin who Tinubu claimed signed his certificate dated in 1979 was NOT an employee of Chicago University until 1996 😭🤣😭
A whole 17 years after Tinubu claimed he graduated.

Tinubu has no certificate from Chicago State University and Atiku has taken the bold step to summon Chicago State University as a respondent in the case in Illinois.

INEC stole Nigeria’s election for a Chronic criminal and persistent crook
INEC should also not go unpunished.

The court in Illinois, United State are now setting up a court date to unravel the MYSTERY behind Bola Tinubu’s Chicago University Fraud.

ATU Seals Seven Markets in Anambra For Obeying Sit-at- home

No fewer than seven markets have been sealed by the Anambra State Markets Amalgamated Traders Association, for not opening for business on Monday and not participating in the sanitation exercise as ordered by the state government.

The seven sealed markets included the Ogbo Afere market, Plastic 1, Plastic 2, Plywood Dealers Association market in Ogbunike, Building Materials in Ogbunike, Bicycle Parts market and Bakery materials market.

The President General, ASMATA, Chief Humphrey Anuna, and his team members, during the visit to the affected markets on Monday, expressed disappointment that the markets did not open despite the directive by the state government that all markets should be opening on Mondays.

Anuna stated that the directive was to help restore the lost glory of the markets in the state, which had been affected by the sit-at-home exercise.

The ASMATA PG and his team visited 18 markets across the state, out of which seven were sealed for non-compliance with the directive.

Anuna said, “Some of the sealed markets only open the gates of their markets for formality’s sake but the executives were nowhere to be seen. The markets need to start opening to restore the lost glory occasioned by the sit-at-home.

“Only the security men who opened the markets were there, even the sanitation exercise was not carried out even if traders were not in the markets. We are more interested in the sanitation exercise after which the market shops will be opened.”

The Caretaker Committee Chairman, at the Bridge Head Market, Onitsha, Chinedu Ezekweike, while responding to questions from the PG and his team during the visit to the market, promised that by next week, there would be a massive turnup of traders.

Ezekweike said traders were happy that the Monday sit-at-home is now becoming a thing of the past.

He said, “The Bridge Head Market Monday prayer and clean-up exercise was successful today, market executives and line chairmen complied, as you can see,” he told the PG.

The chairman of New Auto Spare Parts Market, Nkpor, Chief Elysius Ozorkwere, thanked the governor for the wonderful idea of opening the markets on Mondays and the sanitation exercise.

Ozorkwere said, “We all agreed that Anambra State must be neat, and through ASMATA PG, we shifted sanitation and prayer to Mondays and to ensure every market opens and participates.

“Since 7 am today, we have been here doing sanitation and prayer after which we opened our shops because we are losing millions every Monday because of the sit-at-home and no one is enjoying it.

The Chairman, Amalgamated Tyre Dealers Association, Chief Charle Ikeli, on his part, said, “I thank the governor for his effort, we have suffered enough for the past one year or thereabout, every Monday we can’t do business, we are jeopardising the future of our children.”

The ASMATA PG, who rounded off the inspection in the evening, warned market leaders to ensure they open markets on Mondays and promised to continue the inspection next week.

Subsidy Removal/FG Palliatives: Formulate, Implement Strategies To Address Causes Of Societal Challenges, BDFCG Advises

Rather than offering superficial measures that merely appease public sentiment, the Biafra De Facto Customary Government, BDFCG, said the people of Biafra expect the government to focus on formulating and implementing comprehensive strategies that address the underlying causes of societal challenges.

In a statement by BDFCG Spokesperson, Prosper Odinga, the group said the measure requires investments in infrastructure, healthcare systems, education, and social safety nets, as well as the promotion of transparent governance and citizen participation.

The group noted that it is important for state Governors to engage in meaningful dialogue with people, actively listen to their concerns and incorporate their voices into policy-making processes, thereby fostering inclusive decision-making and participatory governance to ensure that demand for good living is met with concrete actions and policies that genuinely improve the quality of life for all.

“Biafrans Deserve Access To Quality Living, Functional System and Not Palliatives”

https://bhradvocates.com/post.php?post=124
Date: Friday, Aug 28, 2023

1. We have noted the proposed economic stimulus packages ranging from credit at 9% to fund 75 enterprises, N50 billion on conditional grants to fund 1 million Nano businesses, N75 billion credit at 9% to fund MSMEs to approval to release 200,000 metric tonnes of grains across the 36 States and release of N5 billion to each of the 36 States as palliatives among others.

2. We have noted that the above interventions are for a short term period to cushion the effects of subsidy removal on fuel and floating of naira as well as shortage of food supply.

3. However, we will continue to insist that the indigenous people in Nigeria, of which Biafrans are one of them, should be allowed to decide whether to live in Nigeria or outside Nigeria. The above short term economic interventions are just tokenism in nature and cannot address the problem of more than 200 million people forced to live in Nigeria with the assistance of colonial forces.

4. We want to remind the public that Biafrans refined their crude oil under war conditions. The Nigerian Government should utilize thousands of unemployed engineers to refine our crude oil for domestic consumption as there is no basis for exposing our natural endowment to international pricing. Once Nigeria refines her crude oil, pressure on dollar will go down and exchange rate will stabilize in short term.

5. We have also noted cash awards to fixed income earners and sharing of bags of rice to few people by some State Governors in Biafraland as part of their measures to cushion the effect of economic hardships. We have held the opinion that our politicians are behaving like slaves in Nigeria. They should be bold enough to speak the truth to Abuja powers – Nigeria system is not working!
Cash awards, no matter the amount, or sharing of bags of food items cannot address the fundamental problems that the people of Biafra and other indigenous people in Nigeria face such as lack of access to quality and affordable education, healthcare, employment opportunities, underemployment, affordable housing, and food production. We believe that the people of Biafra have inalienable rights to good living, and this right should not be taken away by mere palliatives .

6. Rather than offering superficial measures that merely appease public sentiment, the people of Biafra expect the government to focus on formulating and implementing comprehensive strategies that address the underlying causes of societal challenges. This requires investments in infrastructure, healthcare systems, education, and social safety nets, as well as the promotion of transparent governance and citizen participation. It is very important for our governors to engage in meaningful dialogue with our people, actively listen to their concerns, and incorporate their voices into policy-making processes, fostering inclusive decision-making and participatory governance to ensure that our demand for good living is met with concrete actions and policies that genuinely improve the quality of life for all.

Chicago Certificate: Nigerian Bloggers Destroying my Reputation, Tinubu Tells Court

There is another twist to the legal battle between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his PDP counterpart, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the former has told a US court to hide his Chicago State University—CSU records because his reputation as president is at risk of further being damaged by Nigerian bloggers, court filings reveals.

Mr Tinubu has kicked against an application for order to direct discovery of his CSU credentials, claiming that releasing them will amount to arming Nigerian bloggers with information to discredit and weaken his reputation, the Peoples Gazette reports.

According to Mr Tinubu, previous records the school released in 2022 to Nigerian lawyer Mike Enahoro-Ebah have been turned into weapons by “bloggers to attack” his character.

If the purpose of the application is to uncover ‘opposition research’ or provide fodder fornews bloggers, then it is not proper,” asserted Mr Tinubu through his team of attorneys led by Oluwole Afolabi and Chicago-based Charles Carmichael on August 23 in response to the application filed by Atiku Abubakar, a major contender at the February 25 presidential election in Nigeria.

“In politics, opposition research (also called oppo research) is the practice of collecting information on a political opponent or other adversary that can be used to discredit or otherwise weaken them,” Mr Tinubu’s lawyers explained.

Mr Abubakar had asked the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to subpoena CSU into releasing Mr Tinubu’s records in order to clarify glaring inconsistencies in his gender, graduation date, age and so on but the president is fighting desperately to block the application.

While responding to a previous subpoena in 2022, CSU had provided Mr Ebah with records that showed a certain Bola Tinubu, born March 29, 1954, who attended the school at the same period as Mr Tinubu claimed in the 1970s, was a female. He also recently expunged his primary and secondary education from his records after it was discovered that the primary and secondary schools he listed under oath in his 1999 run for Lagos governor did not exist anywhere in Nigeria.

APGA and APC in Loggerhead Over Local Govt Election

AWKA- The Anambra State chapters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) led by Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo are currently locked horns and are fighting dirty over what becomes of Local Government (LG) elections in the state.

The trouble started when the Anambra State Chairman of APGA, Barr. Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, said that Local Government elections in the state are being stalled by cases filed by parties in court.

Barr. Obi-Okoye made the excuses for Governor Soludo, who during his campaigns, pledged to hold the elections six months into his administration if elected, being September 2022 after he was sworn in in March, 2022.

However, nearly a year and six months into his administration, Local Government elections are yet to see the light of the day in the state.

Launching a bare-knuckle attack on Obi-Okoye, in a statement entitled “No court has retrained LG elections in Anambra; enough is enough!“, the Anambra APC Publicity Secretary, Mr. Okelo Madukaife, accused him of ‘rehashing old tricks’ of stalling LG elections using fraudulent excuses in order to corner the resources of LGs.

Drawing attention to Obi-Okoye’s remarks that Local Government elections are being stalled by cases filed by parties in court, Madukaife said:

“Not surprisingly, Barr. Obi-Okoye did not mention the parties, the subject matter of the suit(s), or the specific orders, if any, tying the hands of the Anambra State Government on LG elections.

“Gov. Peter Obi of APGA used that excuse until it suffered self-expiration. Gov. Wille Obiano applied that excuse to corner the resources of LGs. Now Gov. Soludo, who was emphatic about holding LG election in September 2022, as part of electoral promise has failed and is finding a leeway in the latest APGA umbrage.”

Madukaife further wondered what Soludo is afraid of since his party, APGA, will also be contesting if LG elections hold today.

He said: “In the first place, were LG elections to hold today, APGA will be contesting.

“So, it suits APGA over which Obi-Okoye presides in the state to unconstitutionally maintain control of 21 LGs, at the expense of development and due process.

“Therefore, speaking through Obi-Okoye, APGA is only trying to defend an unjustifiable plunder that is putting Zik’s home State down in the comity of Nigerian states, to the extent that Anambra State is the only state in the South East that has neither formed democratically elected LG governments, nor set a date for the purpose.

“In time, the state may yet become the last in Nigeria. Speak of the first becoming the last under APGA watch. Talk of Anambra State not having a democracy where it matters most!”

He noted that on September 02, 2023, Edo State will repent from non-LG election “sin” while Soludo and his cohorts will be taking Anambra residents for a ride.

Madukaife, therefore described the leadership of Chukwuma Soludo’s APGA as “colourless”, an euphemism for inconsequential.

He regretted that “Anambra State is wasting money paying a set of near unproductive staff who people the Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) for doing next to nothing” and draining the resources of the state.

“We look beyond Obi-Okoye’s weak defence, knowing that there is no injunction against LG elections to request Gov. Soludo to stop hiding behind his fingers, and roll out a timetable to hold LG polls, as Anambra may not be able to afford a situation where each political party will appoint its own Caretaker Committees, after 24 years of patience. Enough is Enough!” Madukaife thundered.

Doing business in Nigeria is Suicidal- Peter Obi

PRESIDENTIAL candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in the last general election, Mr Peter Obi has lamented the neglect of government in supporting commerce, industry and wealth creation, describing the idea of doing business in Nigeria as suicidal.

Obi further lamented that other companies in parts of Asia that were quoted along with Nigerian companies in the Stock markets are leaving in affluence, while their counterparts in Nigeria have either closed shops or are still grappling with the challenges of remaining afloat.

Mr. Obi disclosed this at the 40th Anniversary of Cutix Plc and Grand Reception organized by the company for its co- founder and immediate past Chairman of the company, Ambassador Obi Nwosu, who retired last Friday.

Mr. Obi who was a former Governor of Anambra State, noted that the problems of the country stems from having people who have not created wealth or employment at the helm of affairs of the nation.

According to Mr. Obi, “Unfortunately in Nigeria, it is difficult doing business, and embarking on the business activities in the country is like committing suicide, you will be frustrated in everything that aid business.

“When Cutix Plc was first quoted in the Nigerian Stock market other companies in the world like in parts of Asia were also quoted, but today those companies are living in affluence compared to those here in Nigeria.

“Unless the Federal government decides to do the right thing by supporting these companies, they cannot go far and they need support because they are those that create jobs, they are the ones that will turn around the economy and they need all the government supports.

As Governor of Anambra State, my administration and Cutix Plc constructed the road to the company, Cutix provided half of the cost of the project, while government provided half and the total sum was given to the company to construct the road.

I also recall being instrumental to the appointment of Chief Odi Nwosu as an Ambassador to Republic of Burundi by former President Goodluck Jonathan, and at this point, I must congratulate him and the Founder of Cutix Plc. Engr Dr. Ajulu Uzodike for holding the company fort for 40 years.

Speaking earlier the Co-founder and immediate past Chairman of Cutix Plc Ambassador Nwosu, expressed his happiness over the success stories of the company, describing the Founder Engr Ajulu Uzodike, as a brother and friend who saw Cutix Plc as a Commonwealth, and focused his interest in the company to creating an avenue for all and sundry to create wealth through partnership.

“The story of Cutix Plc is embedded in trust and in the last 40 years I have trusted Engr Ajulu Uzodike and Cutix Plc and the trust was never misused and i want to assure you that yes I am seventy years now if I am there or not or that I am no more my spirit would remain in Cutix Plc “

Also speaking the Founder Cutix Plc, Engr Dr. Ajulu Uzodike noted that “what we are doing today is to say thank you to Amb Odi Nwosu, for what he has done for us and the company and when he was in Benue Cement Company, and I called him to come and join me build Cutix Plc, his answer was unequivocal and he came without collecting salary and when he was asked to start taking salary he chose to invest his salary by buying the shares of the company”

We are using him to celebrate the 40 years anniversary of Cutix Plc and celebrating success, and if Odi Nwosu thinks that with his retirement, he is done with Cutix Plc, I tell him not yet because as retirees, we will join hands together to shape things and to manage the affairs in the shareholders sector of the company for the benefit of all the shareholders.

Sen Victor Umeh representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, noted that Cutix Plc, is a gift to Nigeria in general and the South East in particular, adding that in all his structural development and dealings he has always patronized Cutix Plc.

He urged the staff and management of the company not to relent in ensuring that the company grows from strength to strength despite the harsh economic challenges.

Tinubu has two Chicago Certificates Signed by different People- Atiku’s Lawyer Claims

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has said that the errors in President Bola Tinubu’s Chicago State University (CSU) certificate have validated why he (Atiku) raised his petition.

Atiku, who is seeking nullification of Tinubu’s election on the grounds of alleged electoral fraud, narcotics dealing and election irregularities at the presidential election petition tribunal, had petitioned the US District Court to subpoena CSU into releasing President Tinubu’s academic records to aid his argument.

A few days ago, Tinubu through his lawyers said that his academic records printed by the CSU were fraught with errors and inconsistency with the ones he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before the 2023 general elections.

Tinubu’s lawyers on Wednesday in response to Atiku’s petition at the US federal court in Chicago, Illinois, said that there were errors in the President’s academic certificate and blamed an unnamed clerk of the university for the errors.

Meanwhile, Atiku through his lawyers, said a closer scrutiny of the documents by his legal team showed that the president had two copies of the certificate which also presented even more damning revelations.

One of the documents was the certified true copy of the certificate submitted by Tinubu to INEC on June 17, 2022, but according to Atiku’s lawyers, “this, purportedly, is the certificate issued to him by Chicago State University (“CSU”) showing that he attended the school, and evidencing the degree he was awarded.

The lawyers further noted that “in another document is a copy of a letter dated September 22, 2022 from Mr. Caleb Westberg, the Registrar of CSU attaching a copy of the certificate issued to Bola Tinubu in recognition of the degree he was awarded by the university.

“There is another document, which is a copy of the certificate forwarded by Mr. Westberg, as mentioned above, in response to a subpoena that was issued to CSU in respect of Bola Tinubu’s academic qualifications and achievements.

There is also a copy of the bio of Dr. Niva Lubin-Johnson. Dr. Lubin-Johnson was the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of CSU from January 2001 to December 2002.

“Also is a copy of the bio of Dr. Elnora D. Daniel. Dr. Daniel was the President of CSU from 1998 to 2008.”

It was however noted that upon further examination of the documents, while they all centered on Tinubu’s academic qualifications from the Chicago State University, all the documents bear different details.

Atiku’s lawyers who scrutinised the documents said that “The document marked “A” is the certificate submitted by Tinubu to INEC. This certificate is in every material respect, exactly the same as the document marked “B” except for the following:

“Document “A” is signed by at least 3 people whereas “B” is signed by only 2 people.

“The document marked “E” states that Tinubu was issued a certificate on 22nd June 1979 but then proceeded to forward a copy of a certificate (“B”) dated 27th June 1979. Please note that “A” is actually dated 22nd June 1979, but this document did not emanate from CSU. Only “B” did.

“It is clear that either “A” or “B” is fake (if not both). You cannot have two certificates issued by the same university, to the same person, for the same course of study, but issued on different dates and signed by two different sets of people.

The documents “A” and “B” both state that Tinubu graduated with a BSc in “Business AND Administration” whereas, document “E” (which came from CSU) states that he graduated with a BSc in “Business Administration”. It is important to note that CSU’s website states that “The College of Business offers a contemporary business program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Masters in Business Administration (MBA)”. Nowhere is there any reference to “Business AND Administration” throughout the website.

“If you look at both “A” and “B”, it would appear that one of them is fake. Further interrogation of both documents, however, tells that BOTH certificates may well be fake – notwithstanding that “B” was purportedly issued by CSU.”

The lawyers further that while “both certificates were purportedly signed by Dr. Elnora D. Daniel. This is physically impossible, as Dr. Daniel was only President of CSU from 1998 to 2008. She was neither president of the university in 1979 – when the certificate was purportedly issued – nor was she president in 2022, when the replacement certificates were issued. (See document marked “D1” and “D2”)

“Certificate “A” was purportedly signed by two other people apart from Dr. Elnora D. Daniel. These names are not clear and it is indicative of a deliberate attempt to confuse the reader into believing the authenticity of the document.

“Certificate “A” was purportedly signed by Dr. Niva Lubin (please note that her name is actually Dr. Niva Lubin-Johnson and every public document or reference bears her full name and not the abbreviation). This is also physically impossible, as Dr. Lubin-Johnson was the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of CSU from January 2001 to December 2002 only.

“She was appointed to the Board of Trustees only in 1996 and was not made the Chairperson until five years later. Dr. Lubin-Johnson was neither a member of the Board of Trustees nor its Chairperson in 1979 – when the purportedly issued certificate – nor was she Chairperson in 2022, when the replacement certificate was purportedly issued. (See document marked “C1” and “C2”).”

Another graphic discrepancy in the certificate emanating from Tinubu and the one presented by the CSU upon subpoena is that the two bear different letter fonts and logos of the Chicago State University.

ATIKU’S COURT CASE ON TINUBU’s CHICAGO STATE UNIVERSITY CERTIFICATE.

Mr. Tinubu is making frantic efforts to hide his academic records from being made public. Abubakar Atiku has instituted a case in the Northern District Court of Illinois in the USA, where he is seeking Mr. Tinubu’s academic records from the Chicago State University (CSU) via a Document Subpoena and a Deposition Subpoena.

Mr. Tinubu’s legal team submitted their final address to the court yesterday 23/09/22, where they prayed the court to block Atiku’s request to see Tinubu’s academic records. Atiku’s legal team has until 9th of September to file their own final address before the same US court.
It should be noted that the Chicago State University’s B.Sc certificate is the ONLY academic qualification remaining for Mr. Tinubu, having recanted his earlier claims (made on oath over the past three decades) that he attended St. John’s Anglican School Aroloya for primary school education; Government College Ibadan for secondary school education; and Richard Dailey school in USA for college education. It would appear that the aforementioned qualifications were renounced by Mr. Tinubu because they were either non-existent or fraudulently obtained. (Check online for Mr. Tinubu’s INEC presidential nomination form to see the only qualification he filled in it).

The closing argument submitted by Mr. Tinubu’s lawyers yesterday can be summarized as an attempt to defend the indefensible. It appears rather weak and unconvincing with respect to matters of law and facts.

In their closing argument, Mr. Tinubu’s lawyers admitted themselves that the CSU officially issued a CTC of Mr. Tinubu’s certificate to one Mr. Enahoro Ebah but they contended that the certificate issued to Mr. Ebah was full of errors, which makes it remarkably different from the CSU certificate that Mr. Tinubu submitted to INEC. The question is – why is it Mr. Tinubu’s lawyers speaking for the CSU regarding the errors when the CSU is the subject matter of Atiku subpoenas, and can speak for itself.
.

The way things stand now, there are three different certificates for the same Mr. Tinubu – a) the one submitted by him alongside his INEC form, which he claimed was issued to him by the university on graduation; b) a second CTC of his certificate that was officially obtained by the said Enahoro Ebah via a subpoena in the US; and c) yet another CTC of his certificate that was submitted to the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal by Wole Olanipekun & Co, also purported by Olanipekun to have been issued by the same CSU.

By filing a Deposition Subpoena, which is “a court order requiring a person who is not a party to a lawsuit to provide records and/or appear at a deposition to answer questions asked by one party in a lawsuit”, Atiku is praying the US court to compel the appearance of CSU officials in court to identify the exact certificate that was issued by them to Mr. Tinubu.

Furthermore, if Atiku’s prayer under the second subpoena (Documents Subpoena) is granted by the US court, the CSU will be compelled to release all the available documents on Mr. Tinubu, which may expose Mr. Tinubu’s suspected identity theft crime of using the WAEC results of a deceased woman named Bola A. Tinubu, to secure admission into the CSU.

Mr. Tinubu’s real name is Yekini Amoda Ogunlere from Osun State. This ongoing legal battle in the US, where he is using very expensive international lawyers to block access to his academic records, is to prevent the emergence of credible evidence that will expose the identity theft. Why would a person wanting to occupy the office of President be hiding his academic records,, something that should ordinarily be flaunted as a mark of academic accomplishment.
10. Atiku must have been motivated by Mr. Tinubu’s renunciation of his primary, secondary and college attendance/certificates to raise questions as to how he came about a university degree. A US university will not grant admission without some entry level qualification(s). If Atiku is able to prove in court that Mr. Tinubu forged his way into the CSU, he can then write to the Senate of the university to strip him of the B.Sc degree that he obtained through deceit.

The risk for Mr. Tinubu is that, if the US court determines that the CSU certificate was forged, and knowing that the same certificate was earlier submitted to INEC, it will render Mr. Tinubu academically naked and trigger his automatic disqualification by the Nigerian Courts in line with section 66 of the Constitution.

A possible prosecution of immunity-stripped private citizen Tinubu cannot be foreclosed. The same fate may befall the chairman and other complicit senior executives of INEC for their role in sabotaging the 2023 presidential election.

The Atiku team has until Sept 9th to make their own final submission, after which the Northern District Court of Illinois will make a determination whether or not to order the CSU to release the academic records and admission documents of Mr. Tinubu.

It looks like this court matter is fast turning into a sticky situation for Mr. Tinubu. We should continue to monitor developments in this US court with keen interest.

Igwe Chidume Of Omor Calls For Sustained Efforts To Move Nigeria To Production Economy

The traditional ruler of Omor community in Ayamelum Local Government Area of Anambra State, Igwe Chris Chidume has lent his voice to the call for sustained efforts to move Nigeria from consumption to production economy.

Speaking at his 2023 Iwa Ji festival held at his palace, the Monarch urged government at all levels to encourage productivity in order to have surplus for export, thereby helping to attract foreign exchange that will enable Nigerian economy rebound.

Stating that the current economic hardship in the country is because Nigeria relies much on importation, Igwe Chidume encouraged Nigerians not to recede to present hardship, and specifically tasked people to go back to farming in order to produce what to eat and sell.

Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtoo Udeze, who was at the event, said the state legislature will continue to make legislations to help alleviate sufferings of the masses.
