Southeast populace must activate the master key to our political freedom– Chinedu Asuzu

The Leader- Good Governance Ministry (GGM), a political interest group, Chinedu Asuzu, has urged the people of South East geopolitical zone to activate what he termed the master key to our freedom.

Asuzu, who made the call during an hour radio phone-in programme aired on Monday at Odenigbo 99.1 FM Obosi, argued that the Igbo nation needs a political bloc to move forward.

“For us to gain freedom, we must activate the key to our political freedom. Activating the master key will start by getting our people involved in political issues that involved them. This is why we are here every Monday to conscientize the public on ways forward. It is the political revolution we are clamouring for. I am happy that the message is sinking into our ears. Many people are listening to us from all over the world.

“The ideology is to inform our people to gain the political freedom. If you want to join GGM call us on 08060982212 or 08104207522. You can also join GGM online via https:/registration.ggm.com.ng/ or visit our website www.ggm.com.ng to be updated. Our target is to have 1million members from every state in Nigeria so as to return Political power to the ordinary people . It is achievable. The political system in Nigeria is determined by moneybags , stakeholders ,cabals and elites , hence the emergence of GGM to organise the ordinary people who are in the majority. We need to start from our region first to sensitize our people on the need to participate in the political process . We do not need to segregate; that this person is from Anambra or Enugu, Imo, Ebonyi or Abia.

“We are from the same zone. That is why I am happy over the list of 80 transition committee members released by Prof. Charles Soludo. He drew the list from different parts of South East and beyond. Let’s start from there. Soludo must succeed. We must start from there as a template to reach other parts of the South East. We need leaders who have political will. We need people who have the political decision. If we get it right in Anambra, by 2023, we will overrun the entire South East to bring the Igbo nation together. We don’t need politics that aimed at praising the Abuja. Charity is said to begin at home. The master key to our political freedom lies in our hands. We need to elect those who have the capacity, capability and integrity.

“We need the support everybody to achieve this. We must form a political Bloc. If we get a political bloc, we can get political freedom, social freedom, economic freedom and spiritual freedom. We must first get a government people can trust. If we get it, our people will start bringing their wealth and economic development homes. We need people who have the political will to gather all these political touts and engage them into a better place.

” We will setup the template for our social contract. Some attributes in our social contract are to setup agricultural estates. Like I pointed out during the public hearing on open grazing in Anambra, we need to setup Agricultural estate across the three senatorial zones. And make them very attractive.”

Asuzu, while responding to some questions asked by callers on the programme, added that Africa will develop more when people get it right by electing and supporting credible People.

“Development cannot happen without the people. Development is progressive. It requires human capital development; discovering talents, building skills and supporting them with capital. All revolves around political decisions. On education, we will get it right when we get leaders who can train their children at public schools here. By so doing, they will find out what others are passing through and rebuild the school system,” he maintained.

“Political freedom and self determination are intertwined. If you have Political freedom you can be able to express your self determination. Self determination is when you decide to yourself what is right to do without being hoodwinked . We need to start from known to unknown. Regional Government is the key. ”

Some callers including Mr Sunday Odume, Engr. Chukwuemeka Menekaya, Paschal Onuorah extolled GGM, expressing hope that the programme would help to revive and advance the course of Igbo nation. The GGM Political radio program with Chinedu Asuzu will continue next week Monday from 11-12 noon at Odenigbo Fm 99.1 .Spread the good news about the first Political Ministry in Nigeria .

I have Never Felt so Low- Obi Cubana Reacted to NDLEA Accusation

Businessman and socialite, Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has revealed that it was repulsive for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency to link him with illegal narcotic business.

Mr Iyiegbu was on Thursday grilled for about five hours at the Abuja headquarters of the NDLEA before he was granted bail but it looks like he was detained for days.

While speaking at an Instagram live interview with media personality, Daddy Freeze, on Saturday, Obi Cubana said, “I was in detention for four days and three nights. I didn’t feel bad because I knew the agency would do a thorough job and if I am cleared, I’d be let go.

“There was no witch-hunting, nobody was after me. But to link me to drugs? I’ve never felt so low. To me, it’s repulsive”, Cubana, who is the Chairman of, Cubana group of companies stated.

It was reported that suspicious payments were made into Cubana’s account by three convicted drug dealers from Malaysia, Nigeria and India but Cubana noted that he had made a covenant with God that he’d never support, invest, or be a part of any drug business.

This is something that my children could be victims of,” the socialite added.

“I was never accused. I was never linked to anything but they said somebody paid money into my account, and I believe that the agency in question is a very responsible one.

I know that at the end of the day, they would make their findings public.”

Soludo: Angry Obiano Calls Crucial Meeting Over Soludo’s Transition Committee

Miyetti Allah partners with security agents to fight gunmen in Imo

Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, said its members have teamed up with security agents to tackle unidentified gunmen and suspected criminals in Imo State, southeastern Nigeria.

A chieftain of the group, Sarki Makao, who revealed this on Saturday, said the partnership with security agents was approved by state government authorities.

According to Makao, the effort against insecurity in Imo State has improved since the arrival of “Miyetti Allah vigilante” members on January 3, 2022.

“People always accuse Fulani herdsmen of perpetrating the crimes in Imo State and other parts of the country, so we want to prove them wrong, and that’s why we have partnered with security agents to fight crimes.

“We also have vigilante in places like Ebonyi, Zamfara and Kaduna. Our aim is to help government stop the insecurity in the country and bring peace between herdsmen and people in many communities,” said the Miyetti Allah chieftain.

Soludo Working To Correct The Mistakes Of The Past – Prof Greg

Abia industrialist and Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu, Professor Greg Ibe, has commended the Anambra Governor-elect, Professor Chukwuma Soludo for pursuing what he called “agenda of pan-Igbo awareness beyond state boundary lines.”

The entrepreneur who stated this while reacting to his inclusion on Soludo’s transition committee, expressed delight that the former Central Bank Governor selected from the pool of Igbo unsung heroes to midwife his administration.

Prof Soludo had in a personal message, requested the contributions of Prof Ibe to enable a seamless transition to the next administration in Anambra state.

Ibe said that Soludo’s choice of transition committee members cutting across states from South East was a signal that he was prepared to tap from their wealth of knowledge and experience for the betterment of Anambra State.

Professor Ibe expressed hope that “if it could work in Anambra, it can work in any state in the South East”.

“I am impressed that the governor-elect assembled such a good team of technocrats. His agenda is futuristic.

“So, I am not surprised at this outing which I see as good and exemplary. I did not discuss with him about the list, but the Soludo I know looks at a larger picture”.

Emphasizing further on the composition of the list, Prof Ibe said, “What Soludo did is just beyond a group. He plans to make a lot of unsung heroes and champions of his generation in Igbo land part of his team.

” He looks at a bigger picture of picking from the large pool of Igbo experts and not isolating them as past leaders did.

“You can find out that his team is mainly made of non-politicians. He wants to experiment on the agenda of pan-Igbo awareness beyond state boundary lines.

The spirit is that if it works in Anambra, it can work everywhere else in the entire Igbo land”.

Prof Ibe therefore enjoined other leaders to emulate the Anambra Governor-elect by looking beyond state and party divides in selecting appointees that add value to governance.

Soludo’s 80-member Transition Committee headed by fomer Education Minister, Dr. Oby Ezekwesiri is dominated by technocrats.

Other members of the star-studded committee include: Prof. Pat Utomi, Dr. Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), Mr. Pat Ikwueto (SAN), former Chief Executive of the Bureau for Public Procurement, Engr. Emeka Ezeh.

Others are former Special Adviser to President Obasanjo on Economy, Prof. Osita Ogbu; former Chairman of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Prof. Chidi Odinkalu; Chief Executive Officer of Afreximbank, Prof. Ben Oramah; and former Aviation Minister, Chief Osita Chidoka.

There Are So Much Wastages In Government ! Why ? – Anaenugwu

There are so many big men in Government. Government work is so attractive that a tomato seller in awka is looking for contacts to secure job in UNIZIK where she will be receiving free monthly salary . Why is government work so attractive? Why is certificate education so attractive ?

Our market is not organised . Our system does not encouraging productivity and creativity. There are very low mobility of labour. Our education system is not need based but certificate based .Our academic curriculum is rigid ,it is obsolete and outdated. It is not applicable in digital world. Our obsolete system has destroyed our rich values and cultural heritage.
The polluted pipeline that delivers most Nigerian leaders creates huge compromises that are inconsistent with the right values needed for nation-building. With the monetisation of Nigeria’s political process, it becomes more difficult for persons of decent living and the right values to engage with the political process .

GGM seeks to define ethical standard for political leadership, which is founded on stewardship, probity, accountability and servant-leadership. The journey to fix our local politics has just started .
