Nnamdi Kanu’s message was right, why can’t we talk about Biafra when Nigeria is full of injustice.

Breaking News!!! Kingsley Moghalu Clinches YPP Presidential Ticket (Freedom Speech)

2019 Presidential election is a vote to chose between your freedom or continuous slavery in Nigeria.

Kingsley Moghalu Wins Young Progressive Party’s Presidential Primary Ticket, Says
Campaign is to “Build a Nation”
Professor Kingsley Moghalu, former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, today emerged winner of the Young
Progressive Party (YPP) presidential ticket for the 2019 elections during the party’s national convention and presidential
primaries, which held in Abuja on Saturday, 8 September, 2018. With other candidates for the party’s nomination stepping
down from the race on the eve of the convention, the former United Nations official was officially declared the party’s
flagbearer to contest for the Nigerian presidency against the incumbent, President Muhammadu Buhari on 16 February, 2019
and other candidates.
Speaking after the primaries, Professor Moghalu stressed the importance of putting the concerns of Nigerians at the forefront
of the political debate. Moghalu said that the 2019 election will be “a choice between freedom and slavery under our current
political class, between poverty and real prosperity for Nigerians, and between stability and continuing instability of our
country.”
“Right now, our politicians, having fed fat on our resources, are exercising by practicing ‘jumpology’, jumping between the APC
and the PDP—which only tells us one thing: that neither party nor people matter. In the end, all they care about is what is best
for their pockets or their safety from prosecution. It is up to us to make the case that their way does not work anymore; that it
has only left us in poverty and insecurity; that it has led to many fleeing this country because they feel there is nothing for
them and their children here,” said Moghalu.
The candidate also emphasized the need for Nigerians to ignore the prevalent thinking that things cannot get better, or
wishing for political messiahs who promise to set everything right, stating that there are no magic wands but just him, the
members of the Young Progressive Party and every Nigerian working to truly transform Nigeria.

Bianca: Onoh’s family scolds Ojukwu’s children

The paternal family of Bianca, widow of late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has flayed the children of Ikemba Nnewi for their open attack on their father’s wife, for aspiring to represent Anambra South senatorial district in 2019.

Mrs Ojukwu’s brother, Dr. Umunnakwe Onoh, who spoke on behalf of Chief C. C. Onoh’s family, from his base in London, the United Kingdom, said Ojukwu’s children, particularly Debe, were ignorant of Nigerian laws on matrimony.

The Onoh family said even though they did not enter into matrimonial contract with Ojukwu’s children but their father, it was necessary to put the records straight.

“I, Umunnakwe handed over Bianca to their late father, Ikemba. I flew in from London, under 24 hours, just to hand her over to Ikemba because my father was not disposed and insisted I did that. Even the family’s wedding gift, I was the one who gave it,” he said.

Umunnakwe said Emeka Ojukwu jnr is not in a position to talk on this matter because he belongs to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and not the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

“It is either Nnewi people, the Anambra South senatorial district or her political party, APGA that would have to decide who will represent them but I can assure our in-law’s children that we will meet at Bianca’s swearing-in ceremony.”

He challenged Emeka Ojukwu jnr to field a better candidate than Bianca, if he has one, in his political party, the APC, instead of dancing naked in the market place because of his sister’s aspiration.

“What their father, Ikemba, represented was beyond APGA but for Ndigbo because his was an ideology. For Debe to say that their father’s wife is not Nnewi, is a shameful exhibition of his ignorance of the law as a lawyer he claims. He is also not in touch with the reality of Nigeria’s constitution.

Meanwhile, a leading pro-democracy and non-governmental body, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA), has upbraided Bianca’s step-children over their opposition to her senatorial ambition; on grounds of her state of origin.

The Rights group asked Bianca’s step children to “settle their internal issues privately without dragging the immortal and legendary image of their great father in the mud…”

The group reminded the step children that creating media controversy over Bianca’s political ambition is not just against their father alone but they should remember that he was the father of the Igbo nation and “a legend to millions of people around the world, including human rights practitioners.”

In a statement by the Rights organisation, authorised by the National Coordinator, Comrade Emmanuel Onwubiko and the National Media Affairs Director, Miss Zainab Yusuf, HURIWA said Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, by virtue of her legal status as wife of Ikemba Odumegwu Ojukwu, is validly and constitutionally qualified to seek the mandate of Anambra South senatorial district.

Charly Boy Group Issues Press Statement Over Controversial PACT Outcome.

6 September 2018 PRESS BRIEFING ON PACT

The OurMumuDonDo Movement has always believed in the power of building coalitions by bringing different people, groups, and institutions of different backgrounds together to fight for a common cause.

This view is also doggedly rooted in our ideology as a movement, that to have a paradigm shift in Nigeria, there must be a synergy among like-minds, a convergence on a common ground, and a strong and formidable union, by exceptional young Nigerians who believe in the liberation of our dying nation from the hands of the old cabal.

We believe in young Nigerians with the integrity to combat and defeat the hegemony of those who have turned the positions of authority and leadership to a renter post for the vision-less and irredeemably corrupt. It is in consonance with the foregoing, that the OurMumuDonDo Movement, led by our convener, CharlyBoy, met with some young presidential aspirants, and members of the Presidential Aspirants Coming Together (PACT) initiative, all of whom are vying for the highest office of service in Nigeria – the office of the president, on 31 July 2018, to facilitate among them, the process of presenting a united front in the coming 2019 presidential election.

It is important to note, that on this day, three options were reeled off to the aspirants by the group: Option A was for the aspirants to unanimously agree on who would be projected as the flag-bearer of their United Front, and that this would be done before their respective party primaries – to save cost and time. Option B was for the aspirants to wait until they had all gone through the party primaries in their respective political parties, and then gather to elect their consensus flag-bearer for a United Front.

The difference between Option A and B is that unlike Option A where the would-be flag-bearer of the United Front is not necessarily the presidential candidate of his political party, Option B provides a flag-bearer who is actually the presidential candidate of his political party. Presidential Aspirants like Omoyele Sowore and Kingsley Moghalu were more disposed to Option B, and they were both forthright about it during the meeting. However, a slim majority of the eleven presidential aspirants at the meeting on the day agreed to go for option A as they expressed the uncertainty of their emergence as the presidential candidate in their respective political parties. They also agreed to come up with a modus operandi among themselves, which will facilitate the process of presenting a United Front. It is, however, unfortunate that things did not really go down well with the PACT initiative and they were unable to present to the Nigerian people, a decision that represents the true yearnings of all Nigerians.

However, we believe there are bound to be stumbling blocks in every great endeavor, and that should never deter us from achieving a great cause. At this point, however, we recognize the demand and exigency of having a young, visionary leader, who truly embodies a paradigm shift, and is acceptable to the majority of the Nigerian people. It is, therefore, important to inform the Nigerian people within and outside the country, that after due consultations with highly respected Nigerians, opinion molders, and social influencer across different divides of our society, we are convinced that without the participation of the Nigerian people in the process of electing a flag-bearer for a United Front, and their endorsement thereof, the process is incomplete and void.

We are convinced that the fate of our great country Nigeria, and the fate of One Hundred and Eighty Million Nigerians cannot be decided by seven people. This will be no different from the old ways which we seek to correct. We are convinced that a fundamentally crucial element in our democracy is popular participation. Indeed, there can be no significant achievement without public participation in the process of having a presidential candidate that will represent the real yearnings of the Nigerian people.

We, therefore, announce, in view of the foregoing, that the OurMumuDonDo Movement strongly disapprove of any process or emergence of a consensus candidate that is devoid of the Nigerian people’s participation or approval. We also wish to advise the leaders of the PACT initiative, very strongly, that further discussions on presenting a United Front for a young presidential candidate, should be postponed until the completion of presidential primaries in all concerned political parties.

This will guide us better in the process of making the decisions that will truly benefit our great country, and also improve the standard of living for all Nigerians.
