Biafra Leader Attends Obi Of Onitsha Ofala Festival In Ground Style

This year’s  Ofala Annual Cultural festival  celebrated by the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe appeared to have added more glamour than those of the previous years. The added glamour which included Ofala Music Concert, and a royal banquet in honour of Igwe Achebe, would remain fresh  in the annals of history and evergreen in the minds of the participants.

This year’s Ofala was most remarkable as Obi of Onitsha personally extended invitation to a Biafra Leader – Barr Emeka Emekesiri, the Chairman of Movement of Biafrans in Nigeria and Chairman,IPOB Biafra Project. Barr Emeka Emekesiri who resides in UK was represented by the Director- General of the Movement of Biafrans in Nigeria(MOBIN) -Rita Anigbogu and the Administrator of the Customary Government of Biafra-Engr Anthony Aniegbue with many other delegates.

Igwe Alfred was excited to receive the Biafran delegation from Barr Emeka Emekesiri who came with Igbo Cow among other gift in honour of His Royal Majesty.Barr Emeka Emekesiri through a paper presentation ,informed His Majesty that the Biafra project is being handled by professionals and that His Majesty’s call for Regional Government is in line with the Biafra phase 2 project.The full detail of the royal homily reads  ;

HIS ROYAL MAJESTY,
IGWE NNAEMEKA ACHEBE CFR, mni, Agbogidi
OBI OF ONITSHA

With utmost humility, unalloyed and unfeigned loyalty, honour and respect to His Royal Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe CFR, mni, Obi of Onitsha, Agbogidi, I present this homily in honour of His Royal Majesty and the Throne he occupies in our nation on this special occasion of the 2018 Ofala Festival.
I regard this 2018 Ofala Festival as SPECIAL because I am involved. His Royal Majesty invited me to attend the Ofala just as I am without directing me to hide my identity as to what I represent and the people I represent. I am a Biafran human rights activist and represent the Biafrans. I was humbled with some trepidation when I saw that he sent the invitation directly to me by himself and not by his messengers. Like a child given a portion of meat bigger than what he expected from his father, I deeply appreciate the honour and recognition that His Royal Majesty has accorded me despite my littleness in the society.
We have gathered here today to celebrate and rejoice with a man, not just a man but a King, not just a King but a Treaty King in Africa, Obi of Onitsha, Agbogidi, a man bestowed with the national honour as Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR), who has impacted positively to the lives of millions in the society. We have gathered today at the Ancient Palace of the Obi of Onitsha, not only to celebrate with Agbogidi, but also to learn from him. There are many lessons we can learn from His Royal Majesty but there are two most important lessons I would like to draw our attention to.

The first is the lesson of respect for our Traditional Institutions and restoring the dignity and honour of our Ancient Thrones. In this era when Royal Fathers in this part of the country are prostrating before politicians, speaking contradictions from the two sides of their mouths to win favour from the government, Obi of Onitsha, Agbogidi, made the Igbo Nation proud by upholding the sacredness and dignity of the Ancient Throne he occupies. It was in November 2017 when the Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari visited Anambra State and expected the Obi of Onitsha to leave the Palace and come to the Airport to welcome him! Yet, the President of Nigeria visited the Emir of Kano and other Traditional Rulers in the North and paid homage to them at their Palaces! The Obi of Onitsha remained in his Palace waiting for the visitor to come and pay homage but the visitor left Anambra State disappointed that he could not ridicule the Ancient Throne of Igbo Land. Agbogidi has made us proud. All traditional rulers in the Igbo Nation should learn from him and stop disgracing the Igbo Traditional Institutions.

The second lesson is the call by Obi of Onitsha for the Restructuring of Nigeria into Regional Governments in the exercise of our right to self-determination as published by the Punch Newspaper on 27 August 2018 so that each region would govern itself, thrive independently and develop at its own pace. He said that RESTRUCTURING rather than IGBO PRESIDENCY was his concern. This is where I declare him my comrade in the struggle for self-determination by way of devolution of power. He is saying what we are saying in the Biafra Project by legal methodology and political diplomacy. This is the same message of Restructuring by Devolution of Power being preached by Chief Barr Nnia Nwodo, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo. We are Biafrans by indigenous identity described in the Suit No FHC/OW/CS/192/2013 between Biafra and Nigeria as INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA. We have no intention to destroy Nigeria but to be free to govern ourselves and develop at our own pace just like Scotland governs itself within Britain. The four countries- England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, are autonomous nations governing themselves within Britain. Every REGION should be free within Nigeria to govern itself with its own Regional Parliament, control its resources, pay the agreed percentage tax to the Federal Government and develop at its own pace. This is the best solution to the Nigeria-Biafra conundrum. If this political arrangement could work in Britain, why should it not work in Nigeria?

DG-MOBIN & ADMINSTRATOR-CUSTOMARY GOVT AT OFALA FESTIVAL GROUND

This is the Biafra Project which my teammates and I represent and advocate for in the present dispensation. We have created the structures on the ground for self-determination by legal methodology. We have gathered the remnants of the Biafrans together by the use of Customary Law. We run our Customary Government under our Council of Elders and hold our Town Hall meetings every month in all parts of Biafraland. We participate fully in the Nigerian politics and have our political movement called Movement of Biafrans in Nigeria (MOBIN). We therefore use this SPECIAL occasion of Ofala Festival to invite all lovers of freedom to join our self-determination movement anchored upon the rule of law and political diplomacy. Please visit our websites at www.ipobgovernment.org and www.mobinbiafra.org for more information on how to join us.

I appreciate this Special Invitation by Agbogidi to participate in the Ofala Festival and do hereby present an Igbo Cow (EFI IGBO) with the condiments to His Royal Majesty, the Obi of Onitsha. The Igbo Cow is symbolic. The Igbo herdsmen rearing Igbo cows do not carry AK47. Let us patronize our own instead of contributing money to the Fulani herdsmen to buy more bullets. I pray the Almighty God who has placed Agbogidi on the Throne to continue to protect him, guide him, increase his wisdom, power, knowledge and understanding, and renew his strength and health from year to year. May the King live forever’ The message concluded.

PARTY PRIMARIES AND THE PARADOX OF DEMOCRACY By Charles Ogbu

I reasonably think this thing called Democracy is hugely overrated. It is a beautifully packaged sham, really. And nothing exposes this sham better than party primaries.

It is a well known fact that the most important ingredient of Democracy is the opportunity for the masses to chose their leaders through a free, fair and credible election. This is basically the principle upon which democracy rests.

Question is, do the common people really get to chose their leaders????

The truth is, they don’t!

How can they when they have no voting power in the Primary election of political parties from whence these leaders are chosen and presented to the people in the general election?

this book is available @N3000

The idea of primary elections by political parties defeats the argument that leaders are chosen by the common people. Fact is, political merchants, moral criminals and jagabantically mercantile crooks who most times hold no elective office usurp the powers of the people under the guise of party primaries, select drug barons, psychopathic son-inlaws and other dubious characters and present them to the people who, faced with limited choices, simply chose from the basket of deplorables and smile themselves to death in a deceitful sense of self-importance.

If political parties chose to present well known Morons as their candidates after their primaries, the people who, by the way, are the main employers of the government, will have no option but to chose among the Morons even if they would rather remain government-less than have any of the Morons preside over their affairs.

In essence, we the people chose nothing but the choice imposed on us by conscienceless political shylocks who see politics merely as a business venture.

In truth, we the people don’t really matter in the political equation. Our politicians see this whole political/electoral process as a game with the people as pawn. This is why, during electioneering campaign, even the remotest village is accessed by politicians while seeking vote but after election, nothing for Lagbaja. This is why in all their electioneering slogans, none of the political parties has made restructuring its main criteria even when it is beyond doubt that this criminally flawed structure needs to be re-structured to save the country from collapsing under the weight of its numberless contradictions. This is why none of the parties or even the Aspirants has openly admitted that the unitary constitution which has imprisoned us all needs to be replaced with a truly People’s Constitution.

This book is available @N2500.Call 08036247812

This whole thing is one hell of a farce. A lie. A hopeless illusion. Tragedy is, most of us don’t even seem to realize it and those who do lack the numerical strength to effect any PRACTICAL solution.

To our shame, isn’t it??

Revolution Loading… End Of The Road For Political godfathers In Nigeria.

The just concluded APC Governorship Primaries is a clear message to Nigeria people that your leaders do not emerge from the votes of the people.
Tinubu is the owner of Lagos State and as much as everyone living in Lagos is his slave, if a lying, prove me wrong come 2019 election.
The same way every State in Nigeria is owed by one or two persons, and the rest are their slaves.
These owners of your so called Nigeria are called godfathers, while you the people are their slaves, if you are angry, prove me wrong, come 2019 election.
If you think that few millions standing on a long cue for hours casting your votes alone can deliver from the new colonial masters you call godfathers, then you better rethink.
Only a political revolution can save Nigerians.

Their time is up, only when the people’s mental slavery is liberated.

OURMUMUDONDO STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS: BUHARI HAS FAILED

Fellow Nigerians,

Today marks the 58th annual celebration of Nigeria’s independence from British Colonial hegemony in 1960. Normally, we should all be in a happy and delightful mood, praising the magnificent progress of a country that is supposedly free from the bondage of British oppression and exploitation for six harrowing decades. However, the last fifty-eight years is a story of unprecedented retrogression and monumental misery in our collective human experience and national history.

Even in this misery, it is our civic duty to remember and pay respect to all our fallen heroes in the Nigerian armed forces, who have died so that we can live to realize our collective dream to see a flourishing Nigeria. At the same time, permit us to use this solemn hour to commiserate with the families, parents, and friends of the Nigerian Air Force pilot who died during the NAF Jets rehearsal in Abuja, in preparation for our 58th Independence Anniversary. Just as we wish the other two pilot officers involved in the crash a speedy recovery, we urge the Nigerian Air Force to conduct an investigation into this unfortunate crash and ensure that necessary precautions are taken to prevent the reoccurrence of this ill-incident.

It is crucial to note at this point, that, while for fifty-five years, the people of Nigeria witnessed a slew of unending promises and disappointments from different politicians, several millions still demonstrated unalloyed faith in democracy and transformative leadership by voting for General Muhammadu Buhari in 2015. This faith, however, has been betrayed by General Buhari by every possible standard since he decided to follow the path of reckless impunity, abuse of office, disregard for human lives, and absolute disregard for democratic tenets and institutions – like his antecedents.

During the presidential campaigns that preceded the presidential elections in 2015, General Muhammadu Buhari conveniently made 81 different promises to Nigerians which he pledged to fulfill if elected into office. General Muhammadu Buhari has not only failed to fulfill his promises to the good people of Nigeria, but he has also proven to us that his words are lighter than an empty barrel and that he bears absolutely no respect for the good people of this country.

Firstly, among the numerous failures of General Buhari’s regime thus far, the obstinate refusal of his regime to disclose to the good people of Nigeria, the exact ailment beleaguering the president, and also the total amount of money that has so far been spent on this unknown ailment which has compelled him to sojourn in the United Kingdom for a total of 173days since he resumed office, remains unfathomable and disappointing. More disappointing is the fact that transparency and accountability was one of the core promises of General Buhari during his campaign for the office of the president. But as has become characteristic of his regime, General Buhari does not concern himself with such things as accountability or transparency.

Secondly, before he was elected, General Buhari promised to increase electricity generation, transmission, and distribution to at least 20, 000MW in four years, but Nigeria is currently struggling to maintain between 5, 000MW to 7, 000MW of electricity. He also promised to create 3Million jobs annually, but we have only heard of con jobs out of the twilight zone.

As against his promise to record unprecedented economic development in Nigeria, Nigeria is now the extreme poverty capital of the world and also ranked 157 out of 189 countries on Human Development Index of the United Nations Development Programme, UNDP. From 87Naira in 2015, fuel price is now 145Naira and even higher in a few places in the country. In 2015, a bag of rice (50kg) was N8,500 but now sells for 17, 500. Additionally, one bag of beans sold between N20, 000 to N22, 000 in 2015 but now sells between N30, 000 to N39, 000. Also, a bag of Garri( 80kg), now sells for N10, 500 as against N7, 000 in 2015.

The prices of many more commodities have skyrocketed since the return of General Buhari to power in 2015, and the common man has continued to suffer untold hardship ever since. Under his regime, Nigeria’s unemployment rate has ramped up to 18.80% while youth unemployment rate has ramped up to 33.10%. These and other awful facts reflect the current reality of our economy – widely apart from what General Buhari promised before he was elected, and far from an indication of a country on a path to economic buoyancy.

Thirdly, General Buhari, though branded a reformed democrat in 2015, has proven to the good people of Nigeria, and indeed the world at large that once a tyrant is always a tyrant. Since 2015, the degree of human rights abuses committed under the incumbent regime has been exponentially inhumane and brutal. Apart from the obvious fact that General Buhari has severely battered the dignity of Nigeria’s judicial system by not only invading the homes of judges in the middle of the night but also saying recently that he believes rule of law must be subject to a vague national interest.

Also, it is befuddling why under the watch of General Buhari, over 300 Shia members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) were brutally massacred by soldiers of the Nigerian Army and hurriedly buried in mass graves between December 12 to December 14, 2015. As if that was not brutal enough, the General Muhammadu Buhari regime has continued to keep the leader of the IMN movement, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky behind cold iron bars alongside his wife with bullets allegedly lodged in her body, for over 2years, disregarding a court order which ordered their release.

Like Sheikh Zakzaky, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), NnamdiKanu whose disappearance followed the invasion of his home in Afaraukwu in Umuahia has neither been accounted for by the Nigerian Army nor the Commander-in-Chief of Nigeria’s Armed Forces, General Buhari. All attempts by concerned Nigerians to inquire into Kanu’s disappearance has proven frustratingly abortive, even as 114 courageous women of the IPOB movement were terribly attacked and unlawfully detained under dehumanizing conditions in August 2018, in Owerri, Imo State. Nigerian Journalists, too, have been under persistent state-oppression and persecution since General Buhari happened to our great country in 2015, so much that the Nigerian media now operates under strict state laws and extreme apprehension of state repression.

Fourthly, the several intimidating records of Human Rights abuses under General Buhari’s regime, with all sense of worry and distemper, does not equal the blatant disvalue of human lives under his watch. In contradiction to General Buhari’s promise to drastically combat insecurity in Nigeria, the frightening reverse is the endless killings of Nigerians across the country by Fulani militias, killer herdsmen, the Boko Haram sect, and political thugs coupled with frenetic kidnappings across the country. Under General Buhari’s watch, at least 19, 890 Nigerians have been viciously killed since June 2015. Another report shows that about 1, 061 Nigerians were killed brutally by Fulani militias in the first quarter of 2018 as a result of 106 well-planned consistent attacks on several communities in North-Central Nigeria.

These reports and many more unreported violent deaths of peace-loving, law-abiding, hard-working Nigerians are indicative of the active presence of killer herdsmen, Fulani militias, and Boko Haram militants in especially northern Nigeria and other parts of the country. Fulani militias and Killer herdsmen have consistently perpetrated unprovoked attacks in Adamawa, Benue, southern Kaduna, Kogi, Nasarawa, Plateau and Taraba states, and several of such violent attacks in Edo, Rivers, Oyo, Ekiti and a few other southern states. During the occurrence of many of these cases, General Buhari showed little or no compassion but chose to attend wedding parties, embark on international junkets, and also comment on developments in his political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a despicable turn of events, rather than prosecution, General Buhari has freed over 100 Boko Haram militants and has promised to even grant amnesty to many more. In the same vein, General Buhari has done very little to ensure the release of the only Christian girl remaining out of 110 young school girls abducted in Dapchi, in the captivity of Boko Haram, Leah Sharibu, despite endless public outcry to this effect. Also, the barbaric killing of SaifuraKhorsa, a midwife with the International Committee of Red Cross, and the devilish threat to kill Hauwa Liman and Alice Ngaddah who were abducted alongside Khorsa in March 2018 have not received substantial concern and action from General Buhari’s regime. Additionally, General Buhari, who could not compensate the families of thousands of Nigerians murdered as a result of unprovoked vicious attacks, has pledged to compensate Fulani herdsmen for the death of 52cows crushed by a train in Kaduna.

These blatant displays of nonchalance, irrationality, and inhumanity under the present retrogressive regime of General Buhari is evidential of his lack of ability to either comprehend human sufferings or provide transformative leadership in Nigeria.

Fifthly, as against his public facade of an anti-corruption crusader, General Buhari has mostly shielded his cronies who have at one time or the other been alleged to be corrupt. A fact that is indicative of both his corrupt and nepotistic tendencies. For a fact, we know that General Buhari’s present Chief of Staff Abba Kyari, has been alleged of being involved in a bribery scandal of $500million with MTN and recently, a N29Million bribery scandal in the award of a contract. In the same vein, the present Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has been alleged of gross misconduct through receiving bribes from wealthy Nigerians and private corporations in exchange for security to the tune of N120billion.

Also, MaikantiBaru, the GMD of NNPC, the corporation which General Buhari heads as the Minister of Petroleum, was alleged to have breached due process in the award of contracts to the tune of $25billion. Likewise, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, BabachirLawal, who embezzled over 200Million Naira meant for thousands of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the North-East roams the street freely without any sign of prosecutorial moves by either the government or the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). It has also been established that at least eight out of the politicians working for General Buhari have pending corruption cases worth N232billion.

In all of these cases, there was none in which General Buhari ordered a prosecution, even the BabachirLawal’s case for which an investigative committee was set up, did not lead to any prosecution hitherto. According to the Corruption Perception Index of Transparency International, Nigeria currently ranks 148 out of 180 countries in the world – far from better than pre-2015.

For a president who enjoyed and continues to enjoy the dividends of democracy, General Muhammadu Buhari has failed to uphold its tenets now that he is the chief custodian of a democratic government. General Buhari has flagrantly shown Nigerians and the world at large that he does not give a hoot about democracy. In fact, General Buhari is a parasitic democrat: he agrees with democratic tenets only when it favors him. From the incessant clampdowns on protesters, arbitrary arrests and unlawful detention of Journalists and critics, to the usurpation of democratic institutions, and the subversion of democratic processes, General Buhari has failed to demonstrate the qualities of a truly reformed democrat and a progressive representative democrat. He has not only shattered the tenets of democracy, but he has also belligerently attacked its principles, actively demonstrated unbridled nepotism, tribalism, and ethnic jingoism, leaving the country helplessly divided and reminiscent of the gloomy old days.

In all of the above, one thing has remained constant – the repetitive failures of General Buhari to deliver on his campaign promises and provide the change he promised Nigerians. While these unending failures have continued to provoke deep worries over the bleak future of our great country under General Buhari, our resolve to recall Nigeria from the disastrous track which General Buhari is presently running on, defend Nigeria’s democracy and the interest of the common people of our country, and also facilitate a paradigm shift in our polity, remains unchanged and stout.

We are, therefore, convinced that the time has come for all Nigerians who are tired of the shame and gross disservice which General Muhammadu Buhari has brought upon our country, to stand firmly with us as we fearlessly and tirelessly declare to the world that General Buhari Has Failed.

We make bold to say that: in health, Buhari has failed; in education, Buhari has failed; in fighting corruption, Buhari has failed; in solving the insecurity crises of Nigeria, Buhari has failed; in Economy, Buhari has failed; in preserving our unity, Buhari has failed; in not agreeing to restructure Nigeria, Buhari has failed. It is an incontrovertible fact known to the young and old that GENERAL BUHARI HAS FAILED.

Anambra Compendium: Unveiling of A Stolen Project

One of the major activities lined up to celebrate Nigeria’s 58th Independence Anniversary in Anambra State today is the unveiling of Anambra Compendium billed for 12noon today at Oma Event Centre, Awka.
Expectedly, the Who Is Who, the timber and calibre in the state will be in an attendance at the event that would be hosted by His Excellency, Chief Willie Obi, the Executive Governor of the state.
The authors and all the hands that put the event together by now would be feeling good with themselves for being such creative wizards to have come up with such brilliant idea.
But what they would however not let their guests know is that *what they are unveiling cum celebrating is a stolen project*. Yes, I make bold to say that these intellectual property thieves who should rather than be celebrated should hide their thieving heads in shame for stealing my company’s (Ok Bones Nigeria Limited), proposal which I sent to Governor Obiano as a nominee as well as seek his support and partnership to drive the project.

In 2014 my company in partnership with Chief Uwazurike led Aka Ikenga initiated a project tagged Giants of Alaigbo to celebrate 100 Igbos best. The project was conceived in a manner that there would be an award, a launch of a ‘compendium’ of these illustrious Igbo’s who have distinguished themselves in various fields of endeavour. With the support and wise councel of Aka Ikenga a list was drawn and proposals sent to over 150 sons and daughters of Ala Igbo most of whom will be in attendance today including the governor himself. Given the notoriety and penchant for some of the officers in Governor Obianos government to steal ideas presented by individuals as proposals to the government I had no iota of doubt when about last two years the state government honoured 100 Ndi Anambra. I knew that part of my project had been stolen. I refreshed the project and again in 2017 and early this year I sent the proposal to the governor.
Unlike the first time when he didn’t consider us worthy of a reply he wrote to say he was not interested. I then begin to wonder if His Excellency is not interested in supporting the original owners of an idea, why on earth would he endorse stealing?
Because workers were on strike I wrote the governor and copied his deputy, Dr.Nkem Okeke through their emails and expressed my sadness over the development and explained reason the event should be cancelled.
I also followed up with text messages. But as always I was ignored.
It is an open secret that these ideas thieves abound in Governor Obianos government.
Many have experienced their bitter pills. Because they are brainless, clueless and daft, all they do is sort through proposals that come to the governors table, and plagiarize the one that is sellable and present to the governor as their original ideas and then smile to the bank ever after. It has become so notorious that even amongst his staff it has become a butt of jokes how they steal ideas and when confronted they will give reasons that they conceived the ideas in their mother’s womb.
But this act of criminality must stop. Monkey cannot keep working for the baboo. The bush is there for all animals to kill game. If baboo must chop let baboo think.
While wishing Nigeria happy 58 independent anniversary I wish to let the whole world know that *what is happening in Anambra State today, The Unveiling of Anambra Compendium, is an endorsement of brazen stealing of my intellectual property*.
