Former US president Donald Trump called for his successor Joe Biden to resign on Sunday over the swift takeover of Afghanistan by Taliban militants, as US troops withdrew from the country after nearly 20 years on the ground.
“It is time for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen to Afghanistan,” Trump said in a statement, also blasting him over a surge in Covid-19 cases in the United States and domestic immigration, economic and energy policies.
The Taliban have reconquered Afghanistan in a lightning surge 20 years after they were toppled by the US invasion.
They took control of Kabul on Sunday, more than two weeks before the August 31 deadline set by Biden to complete the withdrawal of American troops from the country.
It was under Trump that the US brokered a deal with the Taliban in Doha in 2020 that would have seen the US withdraw all its troops by May 2021, in exchange for various security guarantees from the militants.
When Biden took power earlier this year, he pushed back the deadline for the withdrawal and set no conditions for it.
Trump has repeatedly blasted Biden over the move, saying it would have been “a much different and much more successful withdrawal” if he were still president.

The Biden administration is quick to point out that Trump negotiated the Doha deal on the withdrawal and that a majority of the US public favors ending “forever wars.”
Biden has faced heated criticism at home that the withdrawal was mismanaged, with the United States racing to evacuate its sprawling embassy just a month after he played down fears the Afghan government would crumble quick.
Anambra State Commissioner for lands, Hon Bonaventure Enemali has escaped death by whiskers as security agents suspected to be Naval officers opened fire on his car.

The message stated that: “The Anambra State Commissioner for Lands, Hon Bonaventure Enemali, narrowly escaped been (sic) murdered in cold blood this afternoon. You can see how one of the Nigerian Navy men at Awukuzu junction targeted and shoot at the honourable commissioner’s car from the rear glass.
My questions are: what are Navy men doing at the junction? Why should they shoot innocent citizens at sight?”
According to a report by The Razor, the attack happened on Sunday evening, when a Naval officer at Awkuzu Junction shot at his car, piercing the back windshield, into the Ford Escape SUV, which the Commissioner was driven in.
TheRazorNews reported that the Commisioner, Enemali, confirmed the attack, saying that it was still like a dream to him.
Asked if he was flagged down and he refused to stop or drove dangerously, Enemali said none of the above happened.

Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom says he will rather die than surrender his land to the Fulani ‘who have made over a million homeless (people) in his state’.
Ortom disclosed this on Tuesday in Markudi, the state capital, while receiving the mission team of the Medecins Sans Frontieres, also known as Doctors without Borders.
The governor accused the Nigerian government of paying lip service to its fight against insecurity.

He said, “Our people are dying, our women, mothers are being raped, our children can’t go to school, they are suffering.

And they are here courtesy of Federal Government but for me, if they come, then I’m ready to die than to surrender my land to Fulani men. If God didn’t protect me, then I need no help from anybody.”
“The spate of insecurity has also led to increased internal displacement which is now commonplace in most parts of the nation’s food basket as statistics continue to swell on what seems to be a daily basis with many more communities sacked from their ancestral home by the persistent attacks with no hope in sight for their safe return home,” the governor added.

The highest decision making body of the Indigenous People of Biafra; the Directorate of States has announced the suspension of their Mondays sit-at-home.
The pro Biafra group had announced that every Monday, the entire South East Region of Nigeria and some parts of South South will be on lockdown or what they described as ‘Ghost town’ in an attempt to force the Federal Government to release their leader, Nnamdi Kanu who has been in detention since June.
However, while appearing on their radio programme on Friday night, the Head of the Directorate of States, Chika Edoziem announced the suspension of the action.
He said they will henceforth, declare sit-at-home whenever their leader will be making appearance in court and not every Monday anymore.
“I wish to announce this very evening, that as directed by the highest command of this noble movement, our Monday Ghost Town or sit-at-home in Biafra land, stands suspended for now,” Edoziem said in the broadcast monitored by BVI Channel 1 Online
Continuing, he said ” The weekly sit-at-home stands suspended, which means in the coming Monday, there will be no Ghost Town in Biafraland.
“Our sit-at-home will be on each court date when our leader, Onye Ndu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be appearing in court.”
He enjoined their members to continue praying for their leader “that his health may not fail him and grant him victory for Biafrans.”
The Monday, 9th August sit-at-home received condemnation in some quarters especially, as it affected the students writing National Examination Council, NECO, Mathematics exam.
With this recent development, reason might have prevailed as the sit-at-home wasn’t in the interest of the economy of Ndigbo.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has raised the alarm over a fake CVR online registration portal and have urged Nigerians to be wary of the activities of scammers.
INEC National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, Barrister Festus Okoye disclosed the existence of the fake online registration portal in a statement, and dissociated the Commission from the fake portal.

“The attention of the Commission has been drawn to a post, which is currently being circulated on the social media, about a website for INEC voter registration which is different from the INEC CVR Portal. The address of the fake portal is https://register.inec-pvc.online/ with shortened URL as https://bit.ly/INEC-PvcReg2021.
“INEC wishes to totally disassociate itself from this website and any activity carried out on it. The Commission states that it has not accredited any agency or organization to capture details of intending voters on its behalf.

The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, says it has disbursed N791 billion to over three million farmers across the 36 states, under its Anchor Borrowers’ Programme, ABP.
The Director, Development Finance Department of the bank, Yusuf Yila, made this known on Friday in Abuja, during an interaction with newsmen.
Mr Yila said the apex bank had reduced interest rate on the loan from nine per cent to five per cent, to encourage more farmers to have access to the credit.
The ABP was launched on Nov. 17, 2015 and designed to provide farm inputs and cash to Small Holder Farmers (SHFs).
The programme was intended to create a linkage between Anchor Companies involved in food processing and SHFs of the required key agricultural commodities, through commodity associations.
He said the programme had helped participating farmers to improve their yields, especially maize from initial two metric tons per hectare, to five metric tons per hectare, while that of rice to four metric tons per hectare.
Mr Yela said the bank was also investing in reducing post-harvest loses of farm produce, by encouraging dry season farming, describing it as “better in reducing such losses.
“Agriculture works better in the dry season, because you cannot control water during the rainy season, but you can control it during the dry season by using irrigation.
“The bank is also building silos and irrigation dams to reduce losses,’’ he said.
Mr Yila said the apex bank had also disbursed about N312 billion, in energy infrastructure support through National Mass Metering Programme.
He explained that the programme was initiated to bridge the six million metering gap in the country, adding that 670 thousand meters had been distributed across the country.
“We are also ensuring value addition in the scheme, by ensuring the meters are not fully imported but assembled in Nigeria.
“By that, we are creating thousands of jobs and also supporting economic diversification,’’ the director said.
Buhari Visits Tinubu in London As Ex-Lagos Governor Recuperates With Use Of Walking Stick After Second Surgery
The APC chieftain, it had been learnt, left the US for the United Kingdom on crutches, a few days after the surgery.
President Muhammadu Buhari has visited the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, in London, the United Kingdom, where he is currently relaxing after undergoing a second surgery in one month.
Tinubu was seen with a walking stick during Buhari’s visit, confirming SaharaReporters’ story that he underwent a second surgery in the United States.
“You see he couldn’t hide that he had difficulty walking after undergoing his second surgery. He went to UK on crutches but took a walking stick to see Buhari,” a source revealed.
SaharaReporters had also reported that sources close to Tinubu said he wanted the surgery in Paris, France but changed his plan over rumours of his death.
“Tinubu had his second surgery at John Hopkins University in Maryland recently. He was accompanied by a popular Nigerian doctor in Chicago. He had wanted the surgery in Paris but when rumour was rife about his death, he hurriedly left for Nigeria and went to John Hopkins,” one of the sources had said.
“He left the US for the UK on crutches,” another source revealed.
Former military head of state General Abdulsalami Abubakar (retd) has told Biafra and Yoruba nations self-determination agitator to reconsider their moves, saying it is difficult to separate.
Abubakar spoke in Abuja during the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida Legacy Dialogue 2021 organised by the Ibrahim and Maryam Babangida Library and Museum.
The event was put together ahead of the 80th birthday anniversary of former military president General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida on August 17.
Abubakar told the agitators that there was strength in diversity, saying Nigerians should try to see how they can sink their differences and continue to live together in peace, being each other’s keeper.
“Even if you break Nigeria now, how are you going to do? When everybody, every Nigerian, anywhere you go in the village, you will find a Hausa man, a Yoruba man, an Igbo man, Itsekiri and so on and so forth. So, when you say you divide, where do you draw the line with the inter-marriages and so on and so forth? It is going to be difficult.”
But Gen Abubakar position on breaking of Nigeria was opposed by Dr Uche Kalu who reminded the former military Head of State that Nigeria was never a nation from the beginning and nothing could be done to force people together. Dr Kalu has this to say ” The former Soviet Union with a population more than double that of Nigeria and with more inter-marriages et al, did break up and heaven did not fall down. The Yugoslavians who are virtually homogenous in terms of ethnicity did also break up and but for the alien Albanian muslim sojourners of Kosoveo, the Slavic Croatians,Montenegrians, North Macedonians;Serbians and Slovenians do live in a good neighbourliness and in harmony.
In Nigeria, there is absolutely nothing there to nurture a harmonious co-habitation of the Indigenous Kwa/Buntu Nigerians with their barbaric,belliocse, and murderous alien Neo-Colonialist Fulani Overlords,who are hell-bent on Fulanizing and Islamising their Kwa/Bantu fatherland.

2. From the 1980s to early 1990s,the Maitatsine Terrorist Group slaughtered thousands innocent Christians,burnt many Christian places of worship and destroyed their human efforts.
3. Currently the Jihadist Killer Squads; the Ansaru,Boko Haram,Fulani Killer Herdsmen and ISWAP are out there slaughtering and cleansing Indigenous Kwa /Bantu Nigerians from their ancestral lands.President Buhari is a known godfather of the Boko Haram and the Grand Patron of the Miyetti Allah Sheikhs and their Killer Herdsmen too.
4.The unilateral declaration of Nigeria an Islamic Member State by thus registering us with the OIC. That has remained a fait accomplice up till today.
5.The imposition of Sharia upon us Christian Nigerians. 6 The use of land mass instead of demography as a criterion,which is the usual norm, to create our current Confederating Constituent Units,States and Local Government Areas by those semi-illiterate Military Bandits ,Despots and Rogue Usurpers of Power,who misgoverned and pillaged the country
from the 1980s to 1999 was a fraud.That created an unacceptable imbalance,which conferred an undue superior numerical advantage to the Islamic North.

8.In matters of admissions into Institutions of Higher Learnings,Hausa/Fulani Students have the privilege of not having to compete with Igbo Students.As a result of that, lots of Igbo children ,who passed their WAEC Exams with flying colours are denied admissions into our Institution of High Learning,while over 90% of Hausa/Fulani Students in our Universities and Colleges, possess neither WAEC Certificates nor the equivalent,which is GCE.
9.The three Branches of our Federal Government,our Security Agencies and all our Federal Institutions are all headed solely by the Fulanis and their Hausa/Kanuri muslim mongrels.
We Indigenous people of Nigerians are quite incompatible with the Abokis. At this juncture therefore,the viable option is for us Nigerians to go our separate ways like the Soviets in peace” Dr Kalu concluded.
The suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari has been accused of masterminding the killing of youths and other residents of the South-East under the guise of curbing agitations for Biafra.
A report by the International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law received by SaharaReporters on Wednesday, labelled Kyari and the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Abutu Yaro as ‘The False Accusers and Executioners-in-Chief’ in the region.
The report stated that Kyari, who was until recently the head of the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT), supervised the deaths of many defenceless Nigerians in the South-East, labelling them members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) or its militia wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN).
It reads, “The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law is shocked to disclose the recent secret killing of at least 80 uninvestigated and untried Igbo citizens abducted by the trio of the CP Abutu Yaro, CP, Imo State, the Imo Governor, Hope Uzodinma and the suspended DCP Abba Alhaji Kyari, DCP in charge of IGP Usman Alkali Baba’s ‘Intelligence Response Team.’
“The secret killings had taken place at odd hours at the former FSARS Headquarters, Abattoir, Abuja, which now houses DCP Abba Kyari’s ‘Intelligence Response Team’ and DCP Kolo Yusuf’s ‘Special Tactical Squad’ and ‘Tactical Intelligence Unit.’
“The three NPF murderous squads are operationally under the NPF’s Directorate of Force Intelligence Bureau headed by DIG Tijani Baba. The recent custodial killing of detained Igbo citizens was disclosed to Intersociety by an activist legal practitioner who is very conversant with the matter and has been following the same.
“The not less than 80 slain Igbo Judeo-Christian detainees were part of hundreds abducted mainly in Imo State under the direct supervision and false labelling and stigmatisation of the Imo CP, Abutu Yaro and handed over to DCP Abba Kyari Team for ‘further interrogation and investigation in Abuja.’
“The CP is also widely seen as the most lying CP in present Eastern Nigeria and has earned himself the infamous title of ‘False Accuser-in-Chief.’ His reckless and indiscriminate false labelling and stigmatisation of defenseless citizens, without proper investigations, have also gravely led to the killing of not less than 160 uninvestigated and untried citizens in Imo State in the past 220 days and also aided the killing by Abba Kyari’s IRT at Abuja’s FSARS’s Abattoir of at least 80 Igbo citizens mainly picked up and falsely labelled in Imo State.
“CP Abutu Yaro And DCP Abba Kyari are named the False Accusers and Executioners-in-Chief.”
The report by the human rights organisation was signed by Emeka Umeagbalasi, Chinwe Umeche, Esq., Obianuju Igboeli, Esq., and Chidimma Udegbunam, Esq.
The report described Yaro as “so hateful of the Igbo tribe and her citizens that every arrest made in Imo must be linked to ‘IPOB/ESN.’ Even in simple offences of affray or traffic or intra or interpersonal quarrelling, land grabbing or criminal trespass, they are magnified and over-bloated to suit being labeled ‘IPOB/ESN terrorism’ case.”
Aside from the duo, the report also mentioned other top police officers like Abia State Commissioner of Police, Janet Agbede; Ebonyi State Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Garba; immediate past Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Ndatsu Aliyu Mohammed; and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kolo Yusuf, heading Special Tactical Squad/Tactical Intelligence Unit.
Kyari, who has been linked to suspected fraudster, Ramon Abass, aka Hushpuppi, by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), denied allegations of receiving money to the tune one $1.1million from Hushpuppi.
The Attorney’s Office of the United States District Court had alleged that Kyari played a major role in a multi-million dollar fraud perpetrated by Hushpuppi and his co-conspirators.
Hushpuppi, who has pleaded guilty to the fraud, told US prosecutors he gave Kyari part of the proceeds of the crime.
But in a statement on his verified Facebook page on Thursday, Kyari denied demanding any money from Hushpuppi, but said he introduced the accused to a tailor whom Hushpuppi paid about N300,000 for clothes.
“Friends: Abbas who we later came to know as Hushpuppi called our office about 2 years ago that somebody in Nigeria Seriously threatened to kill his Family here in Nigeria and he sent the person’s Phone number and pleaded we take action before the Person attacks his family,” he said, narrating his side of the story,” he said.

“Later, he saw some of my Native Clothes and Caps on my social media page and he said he likes them and he was connected to the person selling the clothes and he sent about N300k directly to the person’s account. The Native Clothes and Caps (5 sets) were brought to our office and He sent somebody to Collect them in our office,” Kyari said.
