June 6, 2019

The Anambra State Police Command has announced the arrest of the suspected killer of a female student of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Chinasa Agbata.

The undergraduate was murdered in March and her corpse dumped by the gate of the institution.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Haruna Mohammed, told journalists on Wednesday that the suspect, Onudili Sontochukwu, was arrested following a discreet investigation.

He said the suspect was assisting the police with useful information to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Mohammed also confirmed the arrest of two persons for allegedly abducting two undergraduates of another university in the state.

He said, “It will be recalled that in March, one Chinasa Pauline Agbata, a student of UNIZIK, was murdered and dumped by the school gate around 7.30pm.

“Following the incident, police detectives attached to the command’s Special Anti-Robbery Squad launched an aggressive manhunt for the perpetrators and arrested one Onudili Sontochukwu, aged 25.”

The PPRO said the command had also busted a syndicate that specialised in kidnapping university students.

Mohammed stated, “Police detectives attached to the command’s Special Anti-Robbery Squad arrested at Osisioma Aba in Abia State Kingsley Ugorji, 33, and Joseph Darlington, 25, following a discreet investigation.

“The suspects, who specialise in abducting university students using various tricks, conspired and kidnapped one Favour Obinna, 18, and one Amakaeze Luke, 22.”

The PPRO said exhibits recovered from the suspects included three mobile telephones belonging to their victims, adding that the case was being investigated.

Switzerland Sues Nigeria over ceased vessel

June 6, 2019

The Swiss authorities have filed a suit against Nigeria at the international court over the detention of San Padre Pio, its vessel.

Operation Forward Base of the Nigerian Navy in Bonny, Rivers State, had arrested the ship on January 23, 2018.

The oil tanker, registered with canton Vaud shipping company, ABC Maritime, and its crewmembers were detained for alleged diesel smuggling and violation of Nigeria’s territorial waters.

The captain of the ship had denied the allegations, saying he had all papers covering him and the transactions.

Some crewmembers, except four Ukrainians, had already been allowed to leave the ship, which has the capacity for 5,500 tonnes of cargo.

Switzerland had made diplomatic efforts to secure the release of the ship but nothing fruitful came out of that.

The navy had handed over the vessel to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) but the commission did not arraign those arrested in court.

In a statement, the Swiss foreign ministry said on May 21, it requested the International Tribunal in charge of the law of the sea to order Nigeria to release the tanker vessel, its crew and cargo.

The Swiss ministry said the ship and the cargo had been losing their value, causing damage to the companies involved.

Commenting on the issue, a senior lawyer, who did not want to be quoted, said that more cases would be filed against the Federal Government over the “impunity of the naval authorities.”

He said the navy is currently detaining at least 150 people without trial.

“Many more cases are going to be filed against the Federal Government in municipal and foreign courts due to the provocative impunity of the nation’s naval authorities who are behaving as if they are above the law.

“From the information at my disposal, the navy is detaining not less than 150 people without trial. Some have been incarcerated incommunicado for over two years,” he said.

Justin Bieber Compares Chris Brown to Michael Jackson & Tupac

May 6, 2019

In an Instagram post, Justin Bieber shared an image which compared the hitmaker to iconic artists Michael Jackson and Tupac Shakur. “MJ plus 2 Pac equals CB,” the photo says. “Everyone wants to wait til people die To give them the credit they deserve. I’m calling it now when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time … trust me watch you will see. the people who have over looked this mans talent because of a mistake he made.. you need to reevaluate! Love you @chrisbrownofficial,” he said in the caption.

JB didn’t mention what “mistake” he was speaking of but we’re guessing it was the 2009 assault of Rihanna. Chris commented on the post, thanking Bieber for the kind words. “I LOVE YOU MAN! THANK YOU FOR BELIEVING IN ME,” said the the singer who’s readying the release of his new album Indigo. “YOUR STAR SHINES SO BRIGHT AND YOUR HEART IS UNMATCHED! YOU ARE A KING BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY YOU WERE PUT HERE TO INSPIRE AND CREATE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES BRO! IM WITH YA TILL THE WHEELS FALL OFF AND WHEN THEY DO … WE GONE GET SOME NEW WHEELS.”

Of course, Justin didn’t get a positive response from all fans on his post. “I’ve loved u since I was a KID kid Justin but there is NO justification for beating someone to near death… I’m sorry but it’s true,” wrote one user.

Chris revealed a couple of days ago that his Indigo album will feature the likes of Drake, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and more.

FG to review agreement as five-year duration elapse

Worried by poor delivery of the Distribution Companies (Discos) and the Generating Companies (Gencos), the Federal Government has pledged to review the privatisation of the power sector to improve generation, transmission and  distribution.

The review will form part of the critical agenda of the second term of the administration, Vice President Yemi Osibajo said when he addressed workers on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday.

“As we are preparing for a second tenure in office, we shall be focussing on issues that will improve the lives of Nigerians and launch us into the path of progress. Focus will be on provision of infrastructure to grow the economy.”

He was specific that government would change the narrative in the power sector.

“We have reviewed the privatisation of the power sector and we must change the narrative by reworking the sector for optimum performance,” he assured.

This came as Organised labour renewed its call on government to revoke licences of GENCOS and DIscos over poor performance.

President of the United Labour Congress (ULC), Mr. Joe Ajaero, who addressed workers in Lagos, during the commemoration of the May Day, claimed the privatisation of electricity sector was riddled with corruption and has only produced more darkness and corruption. He demanded a review.

“It is important that the Federal Government informs Nigerians how much it has received from the GENCOSs and DISCOs as part of its 40 per cent ownership in these privatised entities,” he said.

Ajaero also said government has the right to revoke the licenses of the private operators as they have not been able to add anything significant to improve power in the country.

However,

Organised Private Sector (OPS) has been calling for review and revocation of the Gencos and Discos for failure to improve the power sector over five years after the privatisation of the sector.

The administration of Goodluck Jonathan had privatised the power sector by splitting it into three components namely- Discos, Gencos and the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).

The privatisation allows for review after five years, which elapsed last November.

The privatisation, observers said, has failed woefully to improve power supply and distribution, leading to outrage and widespread demands for its cancellation by consumers, while the companies trade blame on the worsening power supply nationwide.

MAY 30 AS IGBO NATIONAL REMEMBRANCE DAY-ADF

By

-
May 1, 2019

May 30 is a Day that occupies such a nodal point in the history of Alaigbo and her neighbours. It should be hoisted as A DAY OF REMEMBRANCE of the millions who died that we may be from; yes, who died in the cause of our struggle for self-determination and survival as a people.

Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF is aware that several Igbo organizations have often scheduled activities to mark May 30 as a Memorial Day in Igbo history. May 30 marks the day Biafra was declared and no patriotic Igbo son or daughter can pretend that Biafra is not part of the history and indeed the major water-shade in the history of the Igbo nation and the entire Igbo race and their Neighbors.

If anyone is in doubt let him recall what happened on May 30, 2017 and 2018, when our sons and daughters under the aegis of IPOB declared a SIT-AT-HOME, while MASSOB and other organisations organised various activities  to commemorate that day as a historic day in the life of Ndigbo, and as well as their neighbours.

The total compliance of that call throughout the length and breadth of Alaigbo was not because IPOB or MASSB had become their supreme authority. No! That call evoked intense yearning in the innermost recesses of the heart and mind of our people. And, therefore, whoever provoked the observance was welcome.

BIAFRA evokes intense longing for freedom for our people. When someone asserted recently that Biafra is of the mind, he was right in this sense.  But Biafra is more than a state of the mind. It is also a material force that moves our people.

Why will Biafra not be in their heart and mind; why will Biafra not symbolise their longing for freedom when their predicament since the Amalgamation in 1904 up to Biafra on May 30 1967and since Biafra has been a continuous state of estrangement, brutal and punitive measures against their economic, political and physical survival?

MAY 30 IS WORTHY TO BE OBSERVED BY THE IGBO RACE AS A REMEMEBERANCE DAY IN THEIR HISTORY!

Ndigbo don’t need any power to decree for or against it. What is needed is the law of their heart – BIAFRA AS A SYMBOL OF FREEDOM.

THERE WAS ONCE AN IGBO DAY!!!

Igbo Day was established by our forebears and was meant to be celebrated world-wide as one of the symbols of Igbo National Solidarity and Unity. Under the leadership of Igbo State Union, Igbo National Day was celebrated annually during the first week of December. However, the authority that supervised it was THE IGBO STATE UNION.

The military banned the Union after the Biafra war. After the war, one of our ancestors, the venerable Dr Akanu Ibiam and others created OHANAEZE NDIGBO, though under certain controversial political environment. For example, Chief Iheonunaka Mbakwe, Chief Jim Nwobodo and others were not active in the Ohanaeze describing it as an outfit of the National Party of Nigeria (NPN).  The later was seen at that time as contesting for the control of Igbo political and cultural space against the NPP which had captured the heart and soul of Ndigbo.

In 2000, Ohanaeze Ndigbo reinstituted Igbo Day for May 29, but due to a controversy arising from the declaration of May 29 as Democracy Day in Nigeria by the Government of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Igbo Day was shifted to September 29.

This action by Ohanaeze was, no doubt, an act of self-denial, reminiscent of defeated people noted for their lack of self-assertion and self-confidence.

It is to be noted in the first place, reflecting the same spirit of self-denial, the choice of May 29, was to run away from May 30, the day Biafra was declared. And when those leaders found out that May 29 had been taken away by the Obasanjo regime as Democracy Day, our leaders chickened out.

But instead of landing where they should logically land, namely, May 30, they landed on September 29 which turns out to be dead on arrival. Dead on arrival because except the speeches and modicum of cultural activities in the State capital where the event is held, not much is heard of IGBO DAY elsewhere, and what is more, because it virtually conflicts with Nigeria’s Independence celebrations. The closeness of September 29 to the Nigerian National Day – October1, – prevents many Igbo citizens, especially those in Government from effective participation in the activities of the Igbo National Day.

Today, there is a historically urgent need, in the search of the soul of the Igbo Nation to consider an alternative and historically most fitting day for IGBO DAY. We must adopt a day which strikes the innermost recesses of the Igbo soul. And that Day is May 30.

Events in Alaigbo on May 30, 2017 and 2018, clearly show that May 30 has become an official Igbo Remembrance Day not only in Alaigbo but throughout the entire world where Igbo citizens live.

In 2018 the BBC, Vanguard Newspaper and other notable media organs report of high-level compliance by Umuigbo to the call for SIT-AT-HOME by the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) and the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB).

From London to Johannesburg, to several cities in Europe, Asia, America and Canada, the story was the same with various activities organized by Umuigbo and their friends to mark the occasion.

On May 30, 2017, the entire Alaigbo was shut down; markets, shops, schools and offices closed while streets were deserted to mark the Remembrance Day.

The Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF), therefore, propose to our people, Igbo leaders, the Governments in the seven Igbo-Speaking States, all pan-Igbo organizations including Ohanaeze Ndigbo that MAY 30 every year should be observed as IGBO REMEMBERANCE DAY and ipso facto as BIAFRA DAY.

It is a Day to remember our history, to review our successes and failures as a people, to remember those who have died fighting for the Igbo cause and also reflect on our future.

However, whether May 30 is declared as IGBO REMEMBRANCE DAY, IGBO NATIONAL DAY or not, most sons and daughters of the Igbo Race shall continue to observe MAY 30 in one form or the other as A SPECIAL DAY OF REMEMBERANCE IN IGBO HISTORY.

Compare our case with the Yoruba nation, a self-confident nation.

June 12 is the day Abiola’s electoral victory was annulled by the Ibrahim Babangida Government. For the Yoruba nation regarded that action as an afront on the Yoruba race, implying that they were second class citizens not fit to occupy the Presidency of Nigeria. June 12 has virtually become their main national day- called DEMOCRACY DAY. Several Yoruba Sates including Osu, Ogun and Ondo had declared June 12 as a Public Holiday within the Yoruba nation, Self-confident people. See?

They had fought to make it a federal event. Their legislators, political leaders and friends fought hard to get the Federal Government and the National Assembly to declare June 12 as the real DEMOCRACY DAY in Nigeria. Within the Yoruba nation, June 12 was celebrated as their own DEMOCRACY DAY

Today, the Government of General Buhari has finally adopted June 12 as Democracy Day in Nigeria. However. Ndigbo do not bother whether the Nigerian Federal Government allies itself or not with the yearning of the Igbo for May 30 as their National Day, otherwise called BIAFTA DAY. It is a call made entirely in the interest of our Regional Unity and Solidarity.

Ndigbo should adopt MAY 30 as our IGBO REMEMBRANCE DAY otherwise called BIAFRA DAY.

The mode of celebration will certainly be determined accordingly. Actvities such as free Sit-At-Home, holiday for workers, Public Lectures and Symposia, Rallies, Wearing of Black or Red Bands, etc, can be defined as forms of the Remembrance Day celebrations.

Two Igwes Emerge In Obiano Town -Aguleri

By
bvichannel1
-
May 1, 2019
THERE is disquiet in Governor Willie Obiano’s community of Aguleri in Anambra East local government area of Anambra State after the recent demise of the traditional ruler of the area, Igwe Christopher Idigo as two persons are laying claim to the traditional stool.

Despite the fact that the state government had already recognized a member of the royal family, Dr Michael Idigo, as a successor to the late monarch and presented him with a certificate, another member of the royal family, Chief Chuka Idigo, has started laying claim to the throne. The development had brought a division in the community, forcing the state government to issue a stern warning to those supporting another person not recognized by the government.

In a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr Don Adinuba, the state government said it had noted with dismay the strange trend by some people to lay claim to the leadership of traditional institutions in some communities in utter violation of the customs and traditions of the communities and in total disregard of the laws governing the selection and recognition of traditional rulers in the state.

According to the state government, there were laws protecting the dignity of the royal institution and those who occupy it, adding that government resolved long ago not to brook any act from any quarters which could bring the royal institution to odium or public ridicule and disgrace. The statement read: “It is intolerable that one Chuka Idigo has in the last few days been posting on the social media, pictures depicting him as a traditional ruler. The pictures were taken in his living room, making the action look like a comic relief. “Even if Chuka Idigo set out to attempt a comedy appropriate for the Nollywood industry, he has gone too far. The monarchy is too important and sacred an institution for any grown-up person to toy with.” Going down memory lane, the statement continued: “Following the passage of Igwe Christopher Nwabunwanne Idigo, the kingmakers and people of the ancient Kingdom of Aguleri nominated Dr Michael Idigo as their next Igwe, and he was subsequently presented to the Anambra State government which has since recognized him as the traditional ruler of Aguleri by giving him the appropriate certificate.

“He was crowned at a ceremony which was attended and celebrated by hundreds of thousands of Aguleri people, their in-laws, friends and well wishers. “Chuka Idigo knows that there cannot be two traditional rulers in the same community at the same time. To pretend that there can be more than one traditional ruler in one community at the same is to show gross indiscipline and an unmistakable proclivity towards chaos and anarchy. “To pretend that a traditional ruler can emerge in a place without the endorsement of kingmakers is to exhibit the kind of thinking and conduct incompatible with the decorum expected of any person who aspires to be a traditional monarch. “To pretend that a traditional ruler can emerge without following due process and without recognition from the state government is to demonstrate crass ignorance of the 1976 law guiding the selection of traditional rulers in the country and the 1981 amended law in Anambra State dealing with the same subject. “Chuka Idigo and all pretenders to the throne of traditional leadership in Anambra State must come to terms with the fact that the state government will not condone any act of indiscipline and lawlessness from them because they will be made to feel the full weight of the law.”

SOURCE : VANGUARD

On a related note ,BVI Online contacted Chief Chuka Idigo to react to Anambra State position that he is an impostor .Chief Chuka told our Reporter that he was  the person chosen by THE IDIGO ROYAL DYNASTY as the new Igwe.He referred BVI Online to the public statement issued by The Idigo Royal Dynasty .The Statement reads in full ; ‘ The attention of the Idigo Royal Dynasty has been drawn to the press release titled: WARNING TO ROYAL PRETENDERS IN ANAMBRA STATE by the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment circulated in the print and the social media. The press release is malicious, mischievious, malevolent, hateful and intended to denigrate and bring to ridicule the name and person of His Royal Highness, EZE GABRIEL CHUKA IDIGO V, (Ogalagidi-Ezedioramma), the Igwe of the ancient kingdom of Aguleri.

Ordinarily, the Idigo Royal Dynasty of Aguleri, and indeed the generality of Aguleri people would have totally ignored the said public statement in its entirety; but for the fact that the several gross misrepresentation of sacred facts and the fabricated mendacity about Aguleri traditional kingship over the more than a century old Idigo Royal Dynasty which may likely deceive the good people of Anambra State and the public in general were therein contained. This rejoinder statement by the Idigo Royal Dynasty of Aguleri is meant to correct and truly rectify these fabrications and deceitful inf ormation regrettably circulated by the officer of the Anambra State Government and provide an accurate account to the public.

The truth and sacred facts of the matter remains that upon the passage of the late Eze Christopher Nwabunwanne Idigo IV (Ogalagidi) Igwe of Aguleri kingdom unto eternity on January 11, 2019 and the formal narration of same to the Ndichie Aguleri according to custom, the Idigo Royal Dynasty was directed to select a new King to succeed the late Igwe. Thereafter, at the historic royal conclave of the Idigo Elders Council held on 19/01/19 (a great day in history), Prince GABRIEL CHUKA IDIGO (A Prince with a rich royal background. His mother is from the Onwudiwe Royal family of Ogbunike and his grandmother from the Amobi Royal family of Ogidi so he can never be a pretender) was selected by a unanimous vote and presented same day to the larger Iruokechi royal kindred who overwhelmingly accepted and endorsed same in a meeting presided over by Chief Mike Ejoh in the residence of Dr. Clement Idigo. He was later presented to the eldest-living patriarch of the royal kindred, the 97yr old Pa Gabriel Chiatula (Onolueze Aguleri) who prayed for him and imparted his paternal blessings on him. Thereafter, the choice of Prince Gabriel Chuka Idigo as the Igwe-Elect was duly communicated to other elders and stakeholders in Aguleri, and later to the Governor of Anambra State (who has lived in Aguleri all his life) in January 2019, who also endorsed the choice during a private visit to the Governors Lodge by a delegation of the Idigo Elders Council with the said Prince Chuka Idigo present.

Things began to take a different dimension on Sunday March 24, 2019, less than 5 days to the scheduled coronation of Prince Chuka Idigo, at a hurriedly-packaged meeting of Iruokechi kindred surreptitiously convened by Chief Mike Ejoh, (an appointee of the State Government to the Federal Civil Service Commission) by 9am when Sunday masses were ongoing, and with less than 13 members present. At the said meeting, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Primus Odili informed that he was sent by the Governor to transmit the information that the choice of Prince Chuka Idigo is no longer acceptable to him, and that he has directed that a certain Dr. Mike Idigo (a medical officer in the Obiano government) be rather selected to succeed the late Igwe Christopher Idigo. This was rejected and rebuffed by members of the Idigo Elders Council and the entirety of the Idigo Royal family; as well as the Iruokechi Royal kindred in separate meetings held on Monday March 25, 2019; and Wednesday March 27, 2019 respectively; and thus reaffirming the choice of Prince Gabriel Chuka Idigo as was collectively made on 19/01/19.

Surprisingly, by Wednesday, March 27, 2019 a heavy presence of men of the Nigeria Police not only descended unto the Eze Idigo palace and not only precluded royal household members from access into their homes but also barricaded all the multiple road entrances into the Ama-Igwe (Kings Square) as well as blocking all major roads in Amaeze Aguleri. Indigenes and residents of Aguleri were denied free movement both within, and in-and-out of Amaeze Aguleri, resulting in close-down of shops and business units in Amaeze Aguleri. When confronted, the policemen averred that they were acting on the instructions and directives of the Anambra State Government. This lockdown of the Idigo Royal palace in particular and Amaeze Aguleri in general continued until Friday March 29, 2019 when even a heavier detachment of heavily-armed policemen and operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) numbering over a 100, held the entire ancient Eze Idigo palace compound and Amaeze Aguleri under a temporary incarcerated captive, with Police armed-Helicopters hovering ferociously at virtually roof-top levels. Under this frenzy and horror of government-induced terrorization, with some of the terrified and scared elders and chiefs inside the Isabanka (Kings court) looking bewildered, the Governor in the company of his wife, the Chief of Staff, Chief Mike Ejoh and a few others directed and facilitated the installation and crowning of the said Dr. Mike Idigo purportedly as the new Igwe of Aguleri, and immediately issued him a hurriedly-written Certificate of Recognition and presented him keys to brand new Toyota Prado SUV and Hilux van.

After the heavy Police presence and intimidation which lasted over the 4 day Last Ovala ceremonies in honour of the late Eze Idigo and which prevented the participation of Aguleri people and other invited sympathisers in native week-long funeral had died down, the Idigo Elders Council and Royal family made a formal report of this orchestrated anomaly to the Ndichie Aguleri during the traditional “Mputa-Ito” ceremony. Thereafter both the Idigo royal family and the Iruokechi royal kindred had in their meetings of Saturday April 20, 2019 and Wednesday April 24, 2019 respectively discountenanced and disregarded the purported coronation as a nullity, and reaffirmed, for the umpteenth time, the collective decision of 19/01/19 in favour of Prince Gabriel Chuka Idigo as Igwe-Elect, to which the said Dr Mike Idigo is a signatory.

It is on the basis of the several reaffirmations of this collective resolution that on the traditional “Mputa-Isaa” (7 native weeks) ceremony of the late Igwe Christopher Idigo held on Friday April 26, 2019 that the elders of the Idigo Royal Dynasty and the Iruokechi royal kindred as well as other elders of Aguleri present, formally crowned Prince Gabriel Chuka Idigo as the Eze Gabriel Chuka Idigo V (Ogalagidi-Ezedioramma), Igwe of Aguleri as the new Igwe of Aguleri to succeed the late Eze Idigo IV. The ceremony was marked with traditional pomp and peagantry characterized by the beating of the Ikolo drum and the dancing to the rhythmic tunes of both the Uvio and the Okanga royal bands.

Again, shortly after the coronation ceremony, members of the royal household and the residents of Amaeze Aguleri were again shocked to herald another heavy presence of men of the Nigeria Police who, yet again, invaded the royal palace building and the Ama-Igwe in great numbers. They forcefully chased away the jubilant elders and people of Aguleri, including members of the Okanga royal band, and prevented any form of entrance into the royal palace. When confronted, they again averred that they are acting on the instructions and directives of the Anambra State government. Worse still, about midday, about 3nos Policemen forced their way into the palace compound and headed to attempt to arrest Eze Gabriel Chuka Idigo V in his palace house and in the process manhandled his 87 year old mother. It took the screaming, yelling and howling of women and children to make the Police do turnabout to escape. As we write, up till Monday April 29, 2019 and continuing, the Idigo palace and Ama-Igwe are under heavy Police lockdown.

The Idigo dynasty acknowledges the good performance of Chief Willie Obiano as the governor of Anambra State and urge him to keep up the good works for the remaining tenure of his administration. We are however astonished and astounded that he has continued to meddle unduly and unjustifiably in the kingship culture and tradition of Aguleri, his home town. We wonder and ponder what is the interest of Governor Willie Obiano in the Aguleri kingship? We also further wonder and ponder why he seems to be destroying the Idigo dynasty of Aguleri despite the several recognitions he has received from the Idigo dynasty.

We use this opportunity to call on Governor Obiano and his cohorts to please desist from further interference and intrusion into the affairs of the Idigo royal dynasty of Aguleri; which is arguably the oldest-surviving dynasty in Igboland having lasted for an uninterrupted period of over 140 years. We plead with Governor Obiano to allow the duly selected and crowned rightful successor to the throne, Eze Gabriel Chuka Idigo V to assume his duties as the new Igwe of Aguleri. We further plead that Governor Obiano desists from further deployment of armed Policemen into the Idigo royal palace to harass and intimidate members of the Idigo royal family. We finally call on the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu to please direct the immediate withdrawal of men of the Nigeria Police who are acting on the directives of Governor Obiano and laying constant siege on the ancient palace of Eze Idigo and the Ama-Igwe.
